Do you think Zook even showed up for work the last couple of weeks?

The fact that multiple teams ran fake punt and fake FG's against us this year was the tell about how badly coached our special teams were.

Ever?
Kinda fun see an NFC North team that doesn't melt down in the Tool Shed.

It's fukkin idiotic to continue trying to win what amounts to pre-Season games
I understand the train of thought, but that idea doesn't sit well with me. We've seen a number of years where players seemingly mailed it in, and it was vm due to the fact that they took for granted their job was secure. Because with Sherman and MM their jobs were secure. That's the mentality that's played a big part in the slow but gradual dissolution of this team. Idr if it was Josh Jackson or Josh Jones- on the Loins td- that was an embarrassing display of lacking effort. And there have been many examples this year. If that's the standard and message being conveyed, this franchise is down further than we all might believe. I think 1) Packer fans deserve better, 2) I want players that have pride in their ability and heart as professional athletes, 3) The Lombardi adage "You don't do things right some of the time, you do them right all the time. That attitude in itself is what brings success. This team needs to learn how to win again, and any drop off in effort reflects poorly on the entire organization. Besides, is picking 10th or 8th or 12th really a huge deal if the front office keeps whiffing on picks?

Curious, did anyone hear boos today at Lambeau??? As there are a lot of boos in Minny......
Yes, there was a lot of booing at Lambeau.
Frankly, the team deserved it.

I received one for Father's Day and absolutely love it. I'm still old school when it comes to smoking salmon, but the T rocks!

I know, but hate when Packers fans do it.
There's not much middle ground on booing, but I'll boo the hell out of them when play is poor. Getting beat by a better team is one thing, but sloppy, uninspired play is another.
I might even boo Murphy if he is on air at the draft!
Didnt see game but monitored score/no score.

They absolutely deserved to be booed. No one showed up to play. Everyone from Murphy on down should be fired.

Its a lot of marginal talent playing for marginal coaches with no real plan or identity.
Packers have arrived at a place that was destined to happen because no one was really paying attention the past few years.
The reality is that all this falls directly on Murphy. So no, Iâm not confident heâs going to do the right thing when it comes to the HC hiring.
I wouldn't be sad if someone announced by the end of the day Monday that the entire football operations staff, including Gute and Murphy were let go, I wouldn't be sad. Now in Gute's case it's his first year on the job and he took over a mess, so the disaster we saw this year isn't all on him.
But even with Gute, the flames of failure were already burning and he added more gas to the fire with a number of questionable personnel moves. He's got to have a much better off season in personnel acquisitions than he did this year or the Pack will really be sunk for awhile if not the rest of Rodgers' career.
Was at the in-laws today so late getting on here. But was Crosby inactive today or what??!! Don't let him try for one stinking field goal to get rid of that big stinking ZERO??!!
Iâm not going to burn down the house when only part of it is on fire. That said, this team needs a strong overhaul. I donât know if Gutterguts is strong enough to do that, and I highly suspect Murphy is not. They need a coach who is not afraid to discipline players, and who doesnât let anyone get away with crap, a coach who can bring in some new ideas and a new attitude. They need a GM who has an eagle eye for talant, especially on OL (thatâs something TT whiffed on many times). And they need a leader on the field who will use everyone and not just guys heâs âcomfortableâ with, who will show trust in the play calls, and who is willing to be a game manager if needed. Things have to change not for changeâs sake, but for the health of the franchise.

OK, OK, just happy itâs over.
It very well could've been boo-urns. Hard to say for sure.
Lions said they added the fake FG this week just for Zook's unit.

I thought Morrison was pretty fired up for the game
Morrison was one of the few that wasn't just going through the motions. That's the type of abysmal listless performance that leads one to believe a complete housecleaning may be warranted, including Mike Pettine.
Funny, you didn't see the Giants with nothing to play for and the Cowboys who were locked in at # 4 and only rested Elliot, go through the motions. They went at it like a playoff game. I hate the Pukes but I gained a lot more respect for them. Beasly sold out on the TD and Garrett went for the win.

Most of the other teams didnât even have to resort to trickery; GB STs were bad enough on their own and gave up plenty of points.

Yes, I could tell by the play of the ST's. If he stayed home they would have improved.
