They're going to struggle against most teams without their preferred starters on the O-Line

(Bahktiari & Jenkins)

There is Z-E-R-O excuse to NOT pressure Carr. Speed up the clock for him and he will throw INTs

I thought the offensive line performed fine without the left side starters.     I was impressed with the pass pro all day.    1 sack on the stat sheet and I don't recall it.

Judging by the way the first 2 weeks of this season have unfolded, there are at least 8-10 teams that are just awful. We saw 4 of them last night.

However, they have their moments when they can sustain a drive, and score just enough points to keep the game relatively close. Then, an inevitable breakdown occurs; whiffing a block, TO, busted coverage, and all of a sudden, these teams are in a position to win a game.

That's what I see the Saints as. An awful team that can win games they shouldn't.

Hey question for everyone.  My wife is not from Wisconsin so I am going to introduce her to a good Wisconsin supper club.  What are the best one's in GB?  I have been googling it but I thought it would be better to ask the experts.

Wherever you end up going out to eat, introduce her to a Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet--the State Drink of Wisconsin. I have never been to a Supper Club in Green Bay but here are a few I found, online. All are 4 Star minimum: River's Bend at 792 Riverview Dr; Kropp's Supper Club at 4570 Shawano Ave and Club Chalet Supper Club at 4642 Nicolet Dr. You can look them up to see what they serve. Some have steaks, some have seafood, etc. Have a good time!

Yeah; this week he's facing Joe Barry.

Yes. I can just hear the discussions Barry is having right now.

"We are facing a very experienced QB who has made 4 Pro Bowls. His main problem was that he got shell shock from playing behind a bad OL with the Raiders and got hit a lot and gets gun shy under pressure and makes poor decisions. So, we are going to rush 4 on most passing downs and sit back in soft zone and wait for him to make a mistake when he has enough time to build a campfire in the pocket."

The sack? It was the blitz that we all blamed on Walker. Go back and look again, folks. He was being asked to block TWO people. The guy on the outside looked like he was being blocked by Dillion(a bad idea to have a half back on a DE to begin with), but Dillion went out for a pass after chipping the guy outside.

All the receivers went deep so a 3 step drop was out. That’s where a lack of audibles hurts.

Walker should learn to block the guy closest to the QB in the future.

My nephew is writing a book about this very subject.  Supper clubs, their history and how it all came about.

Put me on the pre-order list.  Or at last find a way to post it here when it's released.  There are a few similar books already out there.

Keelover: to explain by precedent, look no further than here:

The Hob Nob

*Brandy Old Fashioned Sour, with squirt, not mix.

We were poor urban trash growing up, so never were fancy enough to go to β€œβ€Supper Club” What defines one vs. just a regular restaurant?

A true Wisconsin Supper Club has a couple of stuffed fish hanging on the wall as well as a buck deer heads or 2 and maybe a wild turkey tail.  They also serve Old Fashions and feature  Wisconsin brewed beer like Spotted Cow or Lienies.  And a Friday fish fry and Sat. prime rib.  And most important, deep fried cheese curds.

DH, oh yes with squirt and not the mix is the only option for me.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I've been to the Mill Supper Club in Sturgeon Bay and it's pretty good. A bit of a drive into Door County, but good food and a middle-of-nowhere location.

@AdamSchefter: Saints safety Marcus Maye has been suspended without pay for the next three games for violating the NFL Policy on Substances of Abuse.

@gregauman:  Marcus Maye is a significant loss for Saints for next three games while suspended. Led team with seven tackles in Monday's win over the Panthers, including a sack, and had six tackles and an interception in opening win over Titans. Hasn't missed a defensive snap in two games.
