Bulaga shut down Khalil Mack. Clowney is over there? He's neutralized. The other side is Buck Cherry.

The Packer OL is better than the Seahawks DL. Now they just have to prove it.

No. It's right up there with 4th and 26, the Favre interception in OT against the Giants, and the Jerry Rice fumble game. None of those ever really go away, but another Super Bowl win would help reduce the increased in my blood pressure whenever I see replays.

That interception is the one that will always be seared into my brain. I screamed, "That's IT. I'm done! Let that kid start from now on, he can't be any worse!"

Oh yes there was the one against the Giants and the one against the Eagles (I think in the same 4th and 26 game) Bert just heaved it up with no one around.

Anyhow, back to this weekend, what I would really like to have happen again is a repeat of the "we want the ball and we are going to score" moment.

Don't want OT. They can do it at the coin toss to start the game.

I agree but they have had some games where they were outmatched. I hope they got all of those out of their system and that Bulaga can play 4 quarters, although I do feel much better abut his backup after the Detroilet game.

This will certainly be a different type of game than some of the matchups with the Seahawks in the past.  From 2012-2017, as good as Russell Wilson was, I think most people out there if not all people out there felt like the Pack would have an advantage at the QB position and a disadvantage in terms of defense.

I think you can flip those things around in this matchup.  I think the Pack's defense has been better than the Seahawks this year and Wilson has clearly outplayed Rodgers at QB overall for the past 2 seasons.  The Seahawks have a pretty good D, but I think the Pack's is better overall.  One other thing that does give the Pack a bit of an advantage is they seem overall like the healthier team.

I don't know if Wilson is the best QB in the NFL, but to me he's the scariest.  Even if the guy is having an off day, he can get hot very quickly and when he does, the guy makes you defend every portion of the field as he's incredibly good at extending plays and has the arm and accuracy to make great throws on the dead run like nobody else can (except maybe Mahomes).  Even if the Pack jumps out to a double digit lead in this game, I won't relax until the clock hits 00:00 if Wilson is out there running around.  And hell, sometimes if the clock hits 00:00 and you think the Pack has the game won....  you still might have a ref pull something out of his ass  (see 2012 "Fail Mary" game).

Seattle QB Russell Wilson is 4-3 in his career against Green Bay,                           but he’s 0-3 in his career at Lambeau Field.

If I ran the Packer history book, that Fail Mary game would have a gigantic asterisk on it.

Packers won that game, fair & square -- I don't give a flying fuck what the league "ruled" or has in THEIR history books. SO throw the records out.

I want the Packers to piss pound this team 55-0

These games always come down to the lines. Win up front you win.

But what has been the issue this season is for players to take advantage of opportunities. Playoff football is about playmaking- so you gotta have that play made. Deep ball, fumble recovery, interception, open receiver... if it’s there you gotta have it. Make the play.

Wilson is like the batter that whiffs his first three at bats then crushes a 450 foot walk off HR to win it.   You can never quit on that guy and have to play all 4Q.   Plus you know Petey will have some tricks up his sleeve.

Mike Vrabel made an interesting point this weekend about the Patriots.  He basically said no team is better at capitalizing on the other teams mistakes than New England and I think the same can be said about Wilson.

Play smart and bury those fuckers.  Like Cobra Kai.  Strike fast, strike hard, no goddamn mercy!!

Yep, home team has won every game with Wilson. And as bad as the Packers were last year they gave them a fight last year to the end. After a 14-0 lead.

If I see the Packers defense playing with fire, competing to the whistle I will be very happy. They just don't seem to do that though.

This team needs some killer leadership, especially on the defense. Lot's of people standing around looking rather than flying to the ball and helping make the tackle.

It drives me nutts.

Outside of the blowout loss to the Niners and the 34 points given up to Philly, this defense has played outstanding football given their struggles at the ILB position and even at CB.  Especially with how disjointed the offense has been, this defense has helped this team get to 13 and 3.  They have given up some big play and a lot of yards at time, but they've kept the team in it over the entire season.  The gave up an average of 19.6 PPG over the season.  I'll take that any time over the shitshow we've seen the past few years.

And I'd have a hard time not calling Z'Darious and Kenny Clark leaders on this team.

Found on the internet: #Packers defense needs to be GREAT on third down on Sunday. Seahawks have converted 16 third-downs the last 2 weeks: 8 against 49ers (second-ranked third down D) and 8 against Eagles (fourth-ranked third down D)

I'd prefer they force turnovers & don't even let Seattle get to 3rd down.

Picks so far on CBS sports

Baltimore = 83%

KC = 84%

SF = 74%

GB = 49%

Don't ya just love it 😁

Wow

Random thoughts:

Considering the SeaHags offense against the Eagles was 95% Rusty Wilson(passing and leading rusher) it's pretty safe to say "Stop Russell Wilson !!!"

DK Metcalf has earned the trust of Shottenheimer and Rusty.... Jaire and King need to stay disciplined while RW keeps the play alive. Limit big plays to DK and Lockett.

Fletcher Cox had a monster day blowing up the middle of the Hags O-line. Kenny Clark needs to collapse the pocket and wreak havoc against these bums. The Smith Bros need to collapse the edge and not let Rusty escape outside.

Our O-line is better than their D-line.  Unleash Aaron Jones !!! Rodgers should have protection - we are ready to see the famed Aaron Rodgers....C'mon QB1 !!!

Hags are +12 in Turnovers. Hang on to the @^$@ ball !!!!

Watch for the fake on ST.....Carroll always seems to pull some sort of trick play.

Seriously? When have you seen more than one or two guys making a tackle.

You haven't seen ball carriers still fighting for yardage and have 3 or 4 defenders standing around wondering which one of their teammates is going to get him tot the ground?

We have been watching a different team.

There were times watching the Pack's D this year that were incredibly frustrating, but the bottom line was, they were very effective in limiting points.  I wish they'd force more 3 and outs, but compared to Packers' defenses from 2011-2018 this was a step above all those defenses.

That game against the Vikings a couple weeks ago was as good as I've seen a Packers defense play considering the Vikings are admittedly a good offense (God that hurt saying that!! ).

Refs are set for Sunday

Clete Blakeman is the referee, who is in his 12th season and 10th as referee. This is Blakeman’s 10th postseason assignment, including 4 Wild Card Playoffs, 3 Divisional Playoffs, 2 Conference Championships, and Super Bowl 50.
