Texans D...good for what is ailing your offense!
The Texans have played tough teams, so I see them as better than their record. Yet I also agree that our offense is better than their defense. I hope Bak is ok because we looked even worse without him on offense. I think that this team really misses Lazard and I hope that someone besides Adams can step up. A few good practices this week will also help.
The offense better turn it back on, because this D will have a lot of trouble with Watson. They let statues run around on them.

As much as I hated the Packers getting knocked on their Butt-Asses by the Brady Bunch, I think it could have been the best thing that could have happened to this team. 19-0 wasn't happening with Domfense II. And when you win you tend to overlook your shortcomings and think you're better than you are. Get their heads back on the ground and get after it!

The Packers are signing veteran LB James Burgess off of the Falcons' practice squad to their 53-man roster, per source.

Burgess, an undrafted free agent out of Louisville in 2017, has played in 27 career regular-season games, including 10 with the New York Jets last season. He has 163 tackles, 21 tackles for losses, eight pass breakups, 4.5 sacks, eight quarterback hits and two forced fumbles in his NFL career.
The Packers will be Burgess’ eighth NFL team. He was signed to the Falcons practice squad last Tuesday.
Mike Pettine’s defense remains thin at inside linebacker. Christian Kirksey is on injured reserve, Kamal Martin has yet to be activated from injured reserve and Krys Barnes briefly left Sunday’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Packers have an open roster spot and will not have to make a corresponding move.
As a starter in New York last season, Burgess tallied 80 tackles, eight tackles for losses and an interception. As a rookie in Cleveland in 2017, he produced 75 tackles, four sacks and 12 tackles for losses.
#Packers placed Parry Nickerson on IR, so even with the Burgess signing, the roster is still at 51 players.

In the photo was a cracked Browns helmet, worn by Burgess on Nov. 19, 2017, the day he recorded 15 tackles, three tackles for loss and a sack against the Jaguars. Mind you, this show-and-tell session took place before Burgess was on the Jets.
"His helmet looked like back when I played. It was crushed and broken," said Williams, so moved by the performance -- and the fractured artifacts -- that he made sure it was photographed and saved.

There was a X4 get together at Krolls in '02 organized by Cracked Helmet and Viking Girl. The stadium was under reconstruction. There's a group pic I can't find with me, my daughter, I2H and Ships 2 right in the middle. Helmet was also a pretty good wood worker at making furniture.

I believe TatteredCleats went into politics so he gracefully left the board. This of course started a photoshop frenzy, which I believe I still have.
