Yeah, what's the injury status for Watson and Wyatt? The way Watson crumbled on the sideline, I felt we were not going to see him again for a long time. Wyatt looked to have injured his knee. Hope it's not an ACL or MDL tear. Was not liking how the vikings ran against the 49ers. We will have less luck stopping their running game, than the 49ers did, if our run D doesn't improve.
MLF has 5 days to figure it out. I read somewhere that Love has more rushing yards than Jones. It's too bad we don't have a TE who can block well enough to keep him at the line to help out. It would be worth it. With the OL issues the offense may benefit from more designed QB draws. If Love can be seen as a threat to run he may make CBs start to come after him, leaving a WR open.
MLF had 10 days to figure out how to put up points against one of the worst defenses in the NFL and couldn't.
This team is on the precipice of really going in the tank. But with KARK on the other side, all things are possible.

I only watched a little bit of the Spermhead game last night and I thought that their offense looked great and they did it against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
I absolutely HATE losing to the Spermheads and I really have no optimism in this one unless MLF and the offensive staff can get their shit together to keep that offense off the field. So no I do not expect a good outcome in this one the way the Packers are trending.
Cousins has had success against this team and if Jaire and Stokes can’t go I think he may have a huge passing day.
Maybe this is the week they get De’Vondre Campbell back and they need him as well.
Given the injuries and poor coaching/playcalling and Love’s inconsistency this feels like a bad place for GB to be in terms of how we think they may play. If the Packers lose this game they drop to 2-5 the season could get derailed pretty quickly.
This could be a Moss wipe his ass on the goalpost-level game. Cousins fails when he is rattled which is something our defense wasn't able to do to Wilson.

It's definitely trending that way.
The soft zone coverage schemes without trying to disguise anything get eaten up by good QBs. Kirk is the one of the best "very good" QBs that has ever played. He's never been considered elite, but he's 7th all time in passer rating and when he has time he reads coverages well.
If you don't put pressure on him, he will look like a HOF QB against you. Based on what we've seen, I fully expect Joe Barry to rush 4 and drop into a soft zone coverage and allow a bunch of 14 play 7 minute drives where Kirk can dump the ball off on 5 yard check downs and just methodically move the ball downfield. The defense (especially the DL) ends up on the field for so many plays they get worn down and then get manhandled when the other team turns to the running game once they build a lead against the Packers non-existent offense.

It looks like on several plays that the personnel don't even know what plays are being called (the Watson/Reed third down where they ended up in the same spot).
Other than Aaron Jones, everyone on the offensive side of the ball has arrived since MLF became the head coach. They were presumably drafted because they fit the style of offense MLF wanted to run. They are young, but it seems like none of the offensive personnel look comfortable in the offense. You'd expect them to have a couple of go-to sets or plays that they execute well, but they can't run the ball, the short passing game is just dump downs to stationary targets that don't appear to be schemed to get guys to catch the ball on the move in space, and the deep passing game might be the worst I've ever seen from the Packers since Hadl's washed up arm showed up in Green Bay in 1974.
It doesn't help that they may have the worst starting LT in football, but it's beyond that. It appears many guys are just unprepared and they don't really have an offensive identity. It's not really clear what MLF really wants to do. The only things that work seem to be back-shoulder throws, DPI on under thrown deep balls, and getting Aaron Jones in open space. Of course, MLF doesn't seem to build an offense around Jones either.

Vikings barely beat the Bares the week before. Much different team outside and on grass. Vikings should still win by at least 10.

Bullshit....Vikings will run the ball right down the Packers throats. Kark will probably attempt a grand total of 15 passes all day long. While the Packers defense sits in Nickel on 3rd and short.

I'm not sure what LaFleur can really do since the Packers have not had any threat of a running game for the last 5 weeks. They have no deep passing game. The screen game is a complete mess. They cannot do anything well. The offense is simplified, and guys are still f'ing up. Aaron Jones will help but he won't fix everything. The only cure is practice and game reps.

I think the only real cure is to get better talent on the offensive line. Outside of Jenkins, there's probably not a player that you wouldn't like to replace.
I really think Tom has played better than Jenkins. The other 3 positions need upgrades or coaching that is going to improve their technique.
How about putting Tom and Jenkins on the same side and always running to that side? It can be called the Tom Jenkins' sweep. Example: Larry, "Aaron Jones just Tom Jenkinsed the Vikings yet again for another touchdown. And there is your dagger!".

Pretty big stretch having Jones on the field
I think the Packers have been playing mostly to the experience level of their skill position players on offense. And I don’t think the defense has been as bad as folks make it out to be.
Each week is a different battle. The Vikings (at home) beat the Niners yesterday but struggled the week before (on the road) against a very shitty Bears team. Same with Cleveland the last two weeks. Beat the Niners then struggle with the Colts.
With the youth/inexperience of players on offense (kicker included), I really think it’s going to take time for the game to slow down and for everyone to see the same thing and be on the same page each and every play.
I don’t think the Packers are an upper echelon team. But I would not be surprised if the offense either suddenly starts to click. Or if it is a mixture of inconsistency from week to week once it clicks. They’re young and they’re learning.
Cousins is having arguably his best season. If he has time to throw, and if Barry runs his typical soft zone coverage, it’s going to be a long day for the Packers.
I think it’s going to be a long day for GB anyway because they aren’t a well prepared or well coached team. They are also totally decimated by injuries.
Unless GB can turn over Minnesota several times I see this being like a 30-10 type game.

The queens aren’t as good as they looked last night. The Packers are quite possibly as bad as they looked Sunday.
I hope Love’s accuracy improves and he makes better decisions….any kind of improvement would be nice. If that happens, I’m fine with whatever the score ends up being.
The only Cousins I can get behind is a whole club with extra mayo.
I’m there as well. The wins would be great but I specifically want to see Jordan Love improve. He has not.
The plethora of injuries certainly haven’t helped. But the coaching has been awful and they are one quarter away from being 1-5. Perhaps the team just isn’t that good.
Relax, I’m trying to but in reality we all thought this season would be different, right. Give it more time before we change QB, fire the head coach, etc. Just remember, we’ve had it pretty good the last 30+ years. We probably need an entire season to make judgments.
Just take a deep breath, watch the season, yell, scream, criticize, and in the end we’re still Packer fans, we love em, we will always love em, and really, in the whole scheme of things…….just be kind eh??

The Packer fanbase has given away HFA whether the Packers are losing or not. We have 3rd and 4th generation fans that inherited tickets and will sell as many tickets as they have to so they can see a few games free. Tickets are a lot more expensive than when grandpa first bought them. The secondary market has diluted the advantage the Packers had at Lambeau.
I knew a Viking fan that sold the Packers and Bears tickets every season and saw all the other games for free.

Not one player is showing improvement and that's primarily because the team is so dysfunctional in all phases. The OL is so bad that there are no holes to run through or time to pass. So how could any skill position player show improvement.
The defense has had it's moments but how many turnovers have they created? I can think of 2 INTs and a fumble.

Not certain how to definitively see improvement for some rookie players in only 6 games, but I think Jayden Reed and Luke Musgrave both look like they belong. Also think Colby Wooden and Karl Brooks have done a decent job for mid round picks. Also think Enagbare and Wyatt have made strides since last year. Maybe even McDuffie.
