Is there a way to mail bomb the HOF Senior Selection Committee on Kramer's behalf?

The Pro Football Hall of Fame senior committee has elected Ribert Brazile & Jerry Kramer as its two candidates for the Class of 2018.

His daughter has worked hard to get here.
About damn time!!!!
Too lazy to look it up.
Define "candidates" please.
Edit: Both players will be up for consideration by the full selection committee on the Saturday before the Super Bowl next February and must receive 80 percent of the votes to be elected.
I think one of the two gets in. Don't even remember the other guy. Will always maintain that because Kramer did writing too many media members were jealous of him intruding on their turf and discriminated against him for this. Plus too many Lombardi Packers already in the hall.
The way I read it, both players can get in with 80%.
Robert Lorenzo Brazile, Jr. is a former professional American football linebacker in the National Football League. Nicknamed "Dr. Doom", Brazile played from 1975 to 1984 for the Houston Oilers.
I remember Brazile - guess that makes me old.
Re: Kramer - he ain't in yet!!
GREEN BAY - Fifty years after his legendary Ice Bowl block, Packers right guard Jerry Kramer is a senior finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
It's 11th time Kramer has been a Hall of Fame finalist, the most of any player currently not enshrined. His last time came in 1997.
From Pete Daugherty:
Peter King has already gotten out in front of the Kramer news today. On twitter. In a big way. Because Peter wants everyone to know he's a player in the Kramer HOF decision.
Its probably the singular biggest reason I hate Peter King. His thoughts on Jerry Kramer. Peter King was getting his ass kicked in grade school for lunch money while Jerry Kramer was collecting rings and All Pro hardware.
Peter King is absolutely going to insert himself into this discussion again. Share his feelings. His sense of history.
Jerry Kramer is absolutely one of the best guards in NFL history that had unconditional trust from the best coach in NFL history.
So if Pete try's to run his dissenting viewpoints again I'd be fine if he finally gets his "wad swallowing way to relevance" ass burned to the ground.
**** Peter King.
There's a great story about the 1958 draft class. GB selected Dan Currie, Jim Taylor, Ray Nitschke, and Jerry Kramer with their first 4 picks. Not a terrible draft.
In round 6 GB selected G Ken Gray. As the story goes Jerry Kramer was missing camp while playing college all star games. One of the all star game coaches told Kramer he'd never get a job in GB because they were loaded at guard and Ken Gray was already in camp.
So when Jerry finally showed up in GB he fully expected to be traded. Only he ended up being the best rookie guard in camp. Ken Gray was cut right before the season started.
Ken Gray made six pro bowls and was voted first team all pro twice during his career. That's how good Kramer was as a rookie. Then Vince made him a legend.
**** Peter King.
Peter King was 5 months old when Jerry Kramer was drafted by the Green Bay Packers.
King is the same guy who said "We would be shirking our duties if we did not consider him. What has happened since should not be factored in" regarding Darren Sharper's potential induction to the HOF. I believe Peter said he'd resign from the HOF committee if he wouldn't consider Sharper for induction. Yes. He went third person with a bonus internal conflict.
The guy thinks way too highly of himself. He's a ballwashing swallower that thinks he wields influence. He's a petty prick.
**** Peter King.
I wish I knew how you really felt about Peter King. So hard having to read between the lines like this.
Peter King today:
Re HoF picks. Understand outrage. Three finalists chosen (Kramer, Brazile, Beathard) have good cases. Others do too. Majority rules.
Peter is just letting you know he's going to let you know he's a big deal over the next few months.
Peter King voted for Jerry Jones to be in the HOF then argued about his merits for months. Said Jerry has been the biggest agent of change in the NFL the last quarter century. Helped bring the NFL into the reality TV age by allowing cameras into their draft room. And upped the stadium building game with his new palace. Going to the mat with that **** for Jerry ****ing Jones. Does Jerry buy the Cowboys if Rozelle and Tagliabue not do their job? The ONLY thing Jerry got right was hiring Jimmy Johnson. Then he fired him for getting attention.
**** Peter King.
PFHOF deliberations going on as I type.
Jerry better get in. F Peter King.
Today's the day. My guess is the wrong will finally be righted.
I get the bias against Kramer; too many Packers, the attitude (publicity hound) etc., but I have never understood it- Kramer was a linchpin in that great GB O-line that paved the way for five titles. The idea that Gillingham might have been even better is hogwash. No one will ever know. Gilly's career was cut short by the moron who tried to turn him into a DT but he was a awesome G as well. I have never heard any one say Steve Young shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame because Joe Montana was better or that Rodgers won't make it because Favre is in the HOF.
I saw both of these guys play albeit as a younger fan and the fact that both were dominant players in the era of off tackle and inside trap blocking does not diminish their worth. I can still recall the furious battles against Alex Karras, Roger Brown, or Merlin Olsen and the other great defensive linemen of the Western Conference who are already in the HOF.
So count me in as another Packer fan who is fervently praying Jerry gets in, not because he is a GBP but because he deserves it. Count me among the few who still mourn the early demise of the playing career of Gale Gillingham. He replaced Kramer as the best guard and until John Hannah came along- my favorite Offensive line player in the NFL!
Great post @Pack88.
Kramer was great.
Voting concluded about an hour ago.
Reports suggesting both Senior Committee nominees (Jerry Kramer and Robert Brazile) made it in. I'll post if anything more definitive comes out.

and that is unbelievable.....11 Times??? That really stinks, he BETTER GET IN.
Watching Rudy. Era tells Rudy he’d earned dressing for a home game. 3 seconds later an alert that Jerry earned a spot next to his brothers.
Great Saturday.
ilcuqui: you da man!!
Thanks
Now that Jerry is in; I am also glad that Robert Brazille "Olyve Oil" made it in. He was a great player in another era. I smiled at the press and the Dr Doom thing- his team mates called him Olive Oil because he had the skinniest legs ever seen on an athlete.
Congratulations Jerry Kramer on a well deserved honor. And kudos to Jerry's daughter for her tireless efforts to make this day a reality.
And tho Jerry may be too much of a gentleman to say this out loud:
I’ll never forget the early story of Vince screwing up Jerry’s hair after a rough day at practice and telling him he’d become one of the best guards in football one day. And walking away.
Legend.

About. F@cking. Time.
Kramer was an OL. He'd probably swear just like your avatar.
Unless you were making a reference to Kyler F@ckrell, who is highly unlikely ever to show up on a Hall of Fame ballot.
Jerry answering to door to his righftful place in history.
Absolutely thrilled that Big Jerry is in!!! Just sent my congratulations to him through Alicia. She’s worked tirelessly.
It’s disgraceful that it took this long. But #64 is FINALLY taking his rightful place in Canton!
”Way to go, Jerry!!!!!! Ah ha ha ha!!!”
Loved
About freakin' time! So well deserved, couldn't be happier for him.
Jerry Kramer. The "Phil Rizzuto" of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Lets hope his speech is as classic as Phil's was!

What a sad little person to try to crap on this man's greatest day.
Truly pathetic.
