It's not gonna be the game people think it will be. A well-rested Pack runs and passes to a 20-3 lead at halftime with touchdowns by Jones and Lacy, and Cobb goes off in the second half. Pack gets more than 160 yards rushing and gives up a garbage time TD to take it 34-17.

Broncos coming off a bye as well and getting Sanders and Ware back. Broncos are brutal against the run. This game has 17-13 written all over it. Whoever wins the turnover battle wins this game.
This one is going to be a slug fest and the team that wins the turnover battle wins.
I don't like this matchup at all. Broncos D is rough, on the road in a tough place to play, and in prime time. I will go with 13-10 Broncos.
That DEN defense is pretty special. They are playing hot. However, look at the offenses they've faced in BAL, KC, DET, MIN, OAK and CLE.
Reality hits DEN (Peyton is old, doesn't have the same arm, and their D has played a bunch of chumps), and the Pack lights them up to the tune of 45-13.
McCarthy & Capers make the bold move after the bye to promote Randall and Rollins ahead of Hayward and Hyde, and the Packers D pick parade begins in ernest. Aaron makes the throws that Peyton can't.
MM has a great record coming out of the bye but Packer offense has a lot to prove and unfortunately don't see it this week. Venue tips the game to Denver.
Packers 13
Broncos 20
Denver is living off the turnover. Packers take care of the ball very well. This is the key. In just about every other aspect of the game Packers are equal to or better than the Broncos.

Great point. they havent faced a decent offense yet
I think someway we drop this one late. special teams, turnovers, Manning breaks out of his slump...
FG fest Denver 26-20
Not Bronco game related, but since were at the 12 day window - anyone think
that NBC flexs the Packer-Panther game next week?
just paid a small fortune for tickets! Though theyd have to move the Iggles/Cowgirls out of primetime and I dont see them doing that
Panthers game I predict will go to 1 p.m. national game of the week slot.
Somethings gotta give.
The #Packers have outscored opponents 66-9 in the first quarter this season, while #Broncos' defense has yet to give up any points (12-0)

While Packer opponents have only scored 9. What jumps out at me more is that Denver has only scored 12 points in the first quarter. The Denver offense is so screwed.
Denver has 2 games this year where they didn't score a touchdown on offense and they only have 7 offensive TDs on the year. As long as AR doesn't throw a pick-6 (pretty safe bet), the WRs come back heatlhy, and we get an average rushing game then the score shouldn't be that close.
If the Packers get a 2 score lead the game is over. Packers 20 Denver 9.
Packers win on a last second FG by Crosby.
20-17 Pack

This makes no sense. The game is already a noon CST start. Other early games that week on Fox are Wash. @ N E and ST. L @ Minn. Late Fox games are NYG @ TB and Atl @ SF.
CBS has the double header that week so it will not be a national game of the week.
I predict I will not have to light up candles and listen to Zen music to get over a loss.
Packers win!

I was speaking 1 p.m. CA time--sorry. And I don't know what network would air it, but it's the best game of the day.
A little nervous, but that's just me EVERY game But I think it's going to be close. Something like 28 - 27. GBP wins.

REALLY nervous! Cant stand the donkeys or their bandwagon fans. This should be a defense oriented game, and I predict the better QB will be the difference.
I hear Packer fans are going to show up in droves. That will make Invesco be a little more like Mr. Rodgers neighborhood!
GB 26 - DEN 14
Packers 27
Broncos 17
I'm not worried about the inside guys. Bulaga & Buck Cherry need to show up in a big way.
I'm not at all impressed with Buck Cherry's play this season.

He has been injured. Let's see how he plays after the bye.
I'm convinced David has been playing through a knee injury all season so far. Here's hoping some healing came with the bye week.
Bulaga will be be tested for sure but he's up to the task.
It will be interesting to see if Wade tells Ware and Miller to cut off their wide rushes in order to stop 12 from escaping through the guard-tackle gaps as he did so much in games 1-4. Last two opponents have done that and hampered the Packers' offense.
My guess is that regardless of what Wade tells them Ware and Miller will be so keen to sack the MVP on Sunday Night Football that they will be susceptible to getting pushed wide.

I would be floored if they actually flex out the Uggles/Cowpies out of that slot. You would have to think the network would want that game right now because of the east coast/NFC East connection (bias), and because of the Jerruh's circus factor.
Most thought we would walk through SD but their biggest surprise was the play of their patchwork OL vs. our DL. This will be a tough one with a late score making it not look as close as it really was.
So far this season Raji has been a force multiplier.
I remember the last time Rodgers faced a Wade Phillips defense while he was in Houston.
Nobody thought we had a prayer in that game & Rodgers proceeded to throw 6 TD passes. Cuqui posted the video in the other thread.
It's time to flex some muscle & show the league which team is the team to beat
If I remember correctly, Houston played us tight to the line-of-scrimmage, with a one-high- safety look. As a result we beat them with deep sideline passes. Does not sound like Phillips is using this cover scheme as much this year with Denver?
From McGinn's scouting report:
DEFENSE
Scheme
Coordinator Wade Phillips, 68, rejoined Denver in February and installed his 3-4 defense. His main coverages are Cover 3 and Cover 2 mixed with man. He prefers to rush four, but guessing which four is a problem. Phillips' dime package has been terrific. The entire unit plays aggressively. They rank first in yards (281.3), and second in points (17.0) and takeaways (17).
That 2012 Packer team had Jordy, Cobb, Jones and Finley as receivers and the immortal Alex Green at RB.
With no Jordy, Ty evidently hobbled, Ware and Miller as edge rushers and a very good secondary I would be surprised not to see a very run heavy offense to start with from the Packers. Especially at Ware (even at his best he was always an average run defender if you went right at him) and up the middle.
Also Chris Harris is arguably their best in the secondary. Cobb isn't going to shake him unless MM schemes it right (from motion, or bunch formations, or from the backfield).
I would have loved to see Jordy renew his practice of making Aqib Talib his bitch:
T.........
F.........
B!!!!!!!!
Or Abbrederis making Roby his bitch:
God I miss Jordy.
Rodgers is a great QB but he didn't make Jordy. That guy is a ****ing baller.

Man, I hope they leave it right where it is. We got tickets in May at an auction, section 111. Right around the 50, row 16. Primo. Paid $150/per, they're going for anywhere from $900 to $1300/per in that same section right now. If they move the game, we may just sell.
Oh yeah.
Packers 28

havent heard yet so I guess we're safe. even the late afternoon slot is ok.
A coulpe years ago, we drove back from Charlotte after a monday night loss and got home around 4am. we paid 300 a piece for nosebleeds, have 6 going.
alot of $ in Charlotte and alot of bandwagoners
This will be a close one. The Viking opponents have and average wining percentage that is about the same as the Packers. Only .004 separates them. The Vikings lost to Denver by 3 points. But if you eliminate Denver, the Vikings opponents winning percentage is .228. Denver meanwhile has an opponent winning percentage of .337. So GB is legitimately better than either the Vikings or the Broncos by that measure. I think the Pack wins, but by the score of 27-20.
Broncos have NO running game and Peyton has been awful.
However, even MM admits Eddie is heavy, Starks is injured, Adams is iffy, and Montgomery is injured.
Shaping up like a close-fought defensive battle. Given that the Pack is 1-9 in their last 10 games on the road against teams that made the playoffs, I see a low-scoring loss in Denver.
Got to win in Carolina if we lose in Denver.
McCarthy said Eddie is heavy?
