Everyone in Green and Gold shows patience and it pays off. Pack gets a TD early on a pass to Nelson, D gets some three and outs On Defense and Pack is up 14-7 at the half.

Third quarter is when Beast Mode usually wins the game, but he doesn't this time. Wilson throws an INT to Shields, Peppers gets two sacks, Pack denied in the red zone TWICE and it's 20-10 entering third quarter.

That's when Lacy takes it home with consistent second effort to move the chains, and takes us into the Red Zone again with a screen pass that is a thing of beauty. With four minutes left, Cobb gets a TD pass that is the DAGGER in Seattle's hopes. They get a Prevent D TD, but Pack recovers the onside and Arod gets to do his favorite plays, Victory Kneeldowns.

Pack 27-17. World is officially shocked.

To me it's simple and it boils down to 3 things:

1) the D has to tackle Lynch well and no stupid penalties (see Brad Jones)

2) the OL has to give Rodgers enough time with a gimpy leg

3) the special teams have to show up and make an impact

If they can do that I give them a fair chance to win.   They have to play their game and execute which means converting down and distance and limiting mistakes.

An early lead and/or forcing turnovers wouldn't hurt either.  In so many of these playoff games if the road team can start fast and or make a huge play early it changes the tone of the game

The Seahawks will run over Sherrod at right Tackle.

I do not know if he was a bad pick or just too hurt to play anymore.

I been reading a little about that first game. from what I have found and remember the Packers o-line fell apart when he went in the 1st half.

well, ****. tough call here. one thing I know is the Packers do not roll over and die in games like this. should be a classic.

I badly, badly want to pick the Packers in this one. They're as healthy as they've been in a long time and I really like what they've done this season. I'd love to see that look on Pete Carroll's piece of **** face and watch Marshawn walk off the field without shaking hands like the little bitch that he is. Unfortunately, I just don't think they're equipped to handle the Seahawks in Seattle at this point.

21-20 Seahawks.

If Unger and the CB play for the Hags, Hag's win by double-digits ....
If the CB that still has tire marks on his back starts and if its a revolving door at Center for the Hags, Pack win by more than 3.
BTW, if there was ever a time to pitch to Cobb and then throw, the Hags D is it.
Also, do not underestimate Russell Wilson .... Capers needs to bring 7 kinds of h?ll at him, he is very smart QB that like AR can throw when running or can go Kaeperdick on defenses.
I shudder at the thought of anyone but Clay in the middle, he has makeup quickness.

I kinda like it. Seattle's defense usually ends up dictating things. GB played into that in week 1 by actively avoiding Sherman's side of the field. They need to come out and force Seattle's defense out of its comfort zone and hit them with some quick passes early and often. Spread them out and go 4 wide with Jordy/Cobb/Adams/Boykin

I really, really hope MM doesn't hold anything back. I want to see some new wrinkles

This one is going to be way closer than the Seahag fans seem to think it will be.  Their D is great but honestly the Seattle offense doesn't scare me that much.  This time around the Packers have a very different OL and the team is so different and they know what to expect in Seattle with the atmosphere.  But because this game is on the road I will go with Seattle 17 Packers 13 in a good old fashioned physical battle.

Pretty much same as last week.

I think Rodgers would still beat Tom Brady or Peyton Manning in a 40 even in his current condition. Rodgers doesn't have to run a 40, he just has to be able to slide in the pocket like he did in the 4th quarter against the Cowboys.

I'm sick of the national media calling the Seahawks a dynasty and the best defense since the 85 Bears. The Seahawks offense shouldn't scare anybody. Lynch is good, but it's not like its Adrian Peterson back there. I'd rather face Lynch than Demarco Murray.

As far as their defense, yes they're good and their secondary combined with Bobby Wagner is as good as it gets in the NFL. However, they don't have a dominating front 4 and Richard Sherman isn't Deion Sanders in coverage.

I think it's a close, low-scoring game. My best guess is Seattle wins something like 20-17, but it wouldn't shock me to see the Packers go in and win. Imagine how the Packers OL must feel hearing they're going to get bulldozed. This is a game where the OL can show on a national stage that they're the best unit in the NFL. (No Sherrod helps a lot).

“‘I once knew a dim bulb like you.  I met him on a construction site in the Midwest.  When the lunch whistle blew, all the workers would sit down together to eat.  And every day, Michigan Packer would open his lunch pail and start to complain.  ‘Son of a gun!’ he’d cry, ‘not peanut butter and jelly sandwiches again.  I hate peanut butter and jelly!’

He whined about his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches day after day, until one of the guys on the work crew finally said ‘Fer crissakes Michigan Packer, if you hate peanut butter and jelly so much, why don’t you just tell yer ol’lady to make you something different?

‘What do you mean my ol’lady?’ Michigan Packer replied.  ‘I’m not married.

"I make my own sandwiches.’”

Mike Holmgren said the same thing. The Seahawks use their heavies on first down and a pass rushing line up on 2nd and 3rd downs.

Its really rather simple,if they play like they did the first game in Seattle or the games in Detroit and Buffalo they will get blown out (never should have lost in Buffalo, terrible performance by the recievers) but if they play with the fire and skill they showed against New England they will stay in the game for its entirety and possibly win and go on to sunny Arizona.

If all you have to do is win one game to get to the Super Bowl, how in the hell would a player not have the game of their life?  Football players dream of this opportunity since they first put on the helmet.  Players practice and play throughout their lives to be the best and to win.  They grind through a long season and the divisional playoffs to get to the championship game.  New players or grizzled veterans want a ring.  This is it.  Win one game and you are in.  No way do the Packers play like they did that first game.  Win or lose, the Packers are going to give them hell and I personally believe when the smoke clears they will lie exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.  And then they'll go find some cheap hookers to party with.
