Davison single handedly keeping them in this one...
MSU has way too much talent for Wisconsin. Of course, they make sure to pay their players so that helps.
Every time they play MSU, it becomes very apparent why Happ is not an NBA player. When he plays against guys as big as he is, he really, really struggles.
Getting murdered on the glass...
I love that the NCAA accepted MSUβs internal investigation of Bridges....has to be because MSU did such a good job with its internal investigations during the Nassar mess.
Unbelievable. Did Izzo steer some shoe money to Raftery too?
The slurping about how well Izzo and MSU handled the Bridges thing is ridiculous
Davidson doing this over the last 5 minutes right after they had to pop his shoulder back in is the moment of the season. Win or lose.
Davison... wow.
Gave away a possession by sitting Happ and Davidson on same play
Yikes, Michigan State hasnβt won at Madison for 3 years?? Did I hear that right?? GO BADGERS GO. They could win this thing.......
Those 3 pointers just kill ya.....
Msu - Just too much talent. Badgers would have won 5-6 more games this year had they played this well in December and January. Happ can be guarded one on one by MSU since they have 2-3 future NBA guys on their frontline. That leaves zero margin for error.
pretty solid attempt today against a much more talented team
Gard has these guys playing hard.
to much finesse for happ, just go up and put it in.
Pritzl gets fouled on a 3- no foul, Gard standing there like a dumbass.
Bucky I think has ALWAYS played tough, gritty, and doesnβt give up. Next year theyβll be a w e s o m e.
quick 3 set up a press 14 sec to go
well all right got the 3 5 seconds left

Yah, really hate seeing him on the sidelines.....he does have that stupid look to him donβt he.
the defense looks better, but msu shot 40% on the threes, and killed us on the boards by 12.
probably get these sukkers again next friday

What was he supposed to do, get a technical to put your team down even more?? Sheesh!!! Sometimes the best thing you do is the thing you don't do.

Don't feed the troll.
Really shows how much they missed Trice and King when Davison is not on the floor. Wish they could have played like this in Dec/Jan, we'd be talking NIT at least.
If they could just have rebounded..
I remember watching Grif and Fin from ****ty seats in the Fieldhouse thinking this had to be the best Badger team I would ever witness.
Great having my #Badger brothers here at the @BadgerMBB game vs MSU! @MichaelFinley,@Twebster11 and Rashard Griffith in the building! #OnceABadgerAlwaysABadger pic.twitter.com/XCtPKXeg6j

Every... single... coach... does... this- they hammer away at the refs to get calls! And it works! From Coach K to Izo to Calipari to Dean Smith to Roy Williams.
You also must have been absent for the previous 15 years before Gard- Bo Ryan would have completely lost his mind about 11-12 times in that game.
I found it quite surprising that Izzo did not foul when up 6 and under 20 seconds to go. Perfect time to make it a 3 possession game instead of 2.

And at what point in the game did this no call happen? Was it early when pounding on the refs may have done some good or late when a technical would have been a sure game loser? I would love to watch you on the sidelines. As angry as you get on here, a simple internet bulletin board with people you don't even know, you would get kicked out of every game you coached. And give the other team 4 points.
The refs were horrible all game long. The call where Charlie Thomas rode a guy out of bounds and the call was traveling was worse than Pritzls no call on the three.

Look kids- this is what it looks like when someone cannot argue against the merits of a made point- instead resorting to attacking the person or their character (baselessly I might add) in hopes of deflecting the attention away from their inability to make a strong argument.
Whelp.... if we win our next 4....we are in the NCAA Tournament!
It mathematically could happen ya know.
Ethan Happ makes 1st team all big ten
Brad Davison makes all freshman team
It would be really nice if you answered the questions you were asked too. This is what it looks like when you are rong and can't admit it.
Good grief... really? Ok, fine.
Exactly what am I βrongβ about?
That coaches go into histrionics on the sidelines when they donβt get a call they should get (or even shouldnβt)?
That Bo Ryan used to be one of them?
That the non-call on the Pritzl 3 was worthy of more than the βstaring into spaceβ reaction that Gard offered- especially considering the fact that it was with 2:57 left in a close game in a lost season?
And I didnβt even make this argument before, but was there suddenly something to lose?
I Get it.. you prefer the pompon wavers, and you require conformity- after all, youβre a big bad mod. Seen that movie. Been around here a while now.
And I guess it fits your environment- the cows herd in there for the milking and donβt offer up much intellectual resistance. I would feel sorry for you if they ever did... canβt cattle prod everything, little fella.
So unlike your dairy cows, I have expressed an argument that you obviously canβt refute without exposing your own stupidity. Besides, I do not require that you agree with me- Iβm not trying to convince you of anything because I know youβre an asshole. Iβm just having fun now...
So quit while youβre behind...
So in your coaching expertise, a team down by what, 3 in the final 2 minutes can stand their coach getting a technical and probably go down by 5 and also lose the possession. But the coach made a point by going after the refs. Yep, that is good coaching. Was their something to lose, just the game I guess.
And why bring my former profession into this? I was very proud to be a dairy farmer. I've never attacked your music background, at least that I can remember. But go on being the little boy that you seem to be. I expect nothing more.
Only an idiot would argue extremes.
If the question is should the coach do more to advocate for his players than a blank friggin stare? Of course he should. When I was a player I appreciated it when the coach fought for us.
And I would say that the overwhelming evidence is that itβs effective- thatβs why the top ones all do it. The opposing coach, as much as we can all agree to hate him, is a frequent flyer on the βride the officialsβ plane.
Now think about this... youβre saying Iβm wrong. That the above is wrong.
Sure, early in the game I have no problem with a coach getting on the refs, even getting a technical. You have time to make up the points. But late in a game, where you are already behind, but in a 1 possession game getting a technical there is stupid. 1. You really don't have the time to make up the points. 2. There won't be that many calls that challenging the refs would do any good. 3. You may have just made a 1 possession game a 2 possession game. Of course all my points are rong but by god I got those refs good. Good grief indeed.
