It'll be fun to see Pep have less success at MC than Pellegrini.

If I was a betting man I'd wager that that isn't going to happen. The sheiks will open the coffers and the sporting director is Pep's former ally from Barca. Once they clear out the dead wood and get the right players on board MCFC will be EPL and legitimate CL championship contenders as long as Guardiola is there.

America's favorite sport is our football. 2nd favorite? Whining about soccer. LOL! All day, whenever anyone wanted to talk about Leicester's improbable run, someone would shout them down for a number of reason. Mind you, I only listened to the equivalent of 20 minutes of sports radio. It was enough. The complaints are as follows.

1. They won the league on a draw. Actually two draws. Draws make me sad. Draws make my dick soft.

2. The game is not American enough. (Donald Trump would agree)

3. Who did they beat in the title game? (This one made me cry. LOL! You mean, they played EVERY TEAM in their league, not once, but TWICE, ended up with the best record, and now they need a championship game, in case one of those teams gets lucky and pulls out a win? Were the 2007 Giants really better than the Patriots? How many other catches did what's his name catch with his helmet in his whole crappy career?)

4. The game is not American enough.

5. The game is not American enough.

I completely agree. Can't embrace anything that's not American enough. Why can't they make it more American? Instead of relegating the crappy teams they should reward their crappiness by finding the next Lebron James and awarding him to the crappiest teams. That will show them.

As I said elsewhere during the last World Cup, what bugs me is how people think soccer is less legitimate for reasons they have no problem with in other sports.

Players flop in basketball all the time, but its soccer diving that's evil. Baseball is incredibly tedious, yet those four-hour Yankee-Red Sox games are supposedly great.  And soccer games finish in under two hours. NFL players feign injury to try to slow down the no-huddle. But soccer players feigning injury is just terrible.

City were badly outplayed at home last week. That is a concern, but anything can happen. Huge result preventing a goal at home.

People said losing Dilva hurt...but honestly, the guy has been a non factor in just about every match this season. As much as I hate that sack of $hit Yaya, not having him on set pieces hurt...a lot. City was absolute garbage in that area, and were lucky as hell they didn't concede goals.

If MP had a sack, he's start Navas on the bench, and put in Nacho...you lose a bit of pace, but you get a guy who won't get picked in the box, and can FINISH...something only one other City player does regularly...DeBruyne. Even Aguero is pressed to score.

Honestly, I think La Liga is top heavy...there is a TON of garbage in that league. Basically they are glorified scrimmages for Real, Barca, Atleti, etc.

I mean, MCFC isn't the best team in PL...and they could easily be in the UCL title game. Hell, if you suited up LCFC vs Real today, I talk Leicester all damn day. Would probably even lean to Spurs except they are so damn young.

That's why I am a fan of EPL...league parity. La Liga it's always going to be Barca, Real or in an odd year Atleti.

Bundesliga it's Bayern and everyone else.

Serie A, Juve and everyone else.
