That having been said, the next time an idiot soccer detractor hates on the sport, show them this game as evidence of how low-scoring doesn't equal boring.
Atletico Madrid's defending is simply insane. Cholo is one hell of a coach.
Atletico play the best defense in rhe world.
Wow, Mane with a hat trick against a really disinterested looking City.
Iheanachos freaking ridiculous.
Win the Champions League and it doesn't matter where you finish in the domestic league.
Fukkstick Pellegrini is focused on Real...and when City loses on Wednesday, they will basically have 3 days to prep for a must-win game vs Assenhole...which they won't win.
MP has zero skin in the game...all he cares about is the UCL, so he can give the finger to City ownership...he couldn't care less about a top 4 finish.
Yeah, he's been squawking lately about how much better City's record was before the hiring of Pep. No question he is bitter.
How did nobody get a red card?
It'll be fun to see Pep have less success at MC than Pellegrini.
MoLeicester win by virtue of the Spurs draw.

If I was a betting man I'd wager that that isn't going to happen. The sheiks will open the coffers and the sporting director is Pep's former ally from Barca. Once they clear out the dead wood and get the right players on board MCFC will be EPL and legitimate CL championship contenders as long as Guardiola is there.
And people bitch about Bayern's spending....
10 things bookies thought more likely than Leicester City winning the EPL:
Manchester United have spent more on new players in the two-year reign of their current manager than the new champions have in their entire 132-year existence.
The Guardian is just killing it with its Leicester coverage.
Such as here. http://www.theguardian.com/foo...pions-premier-league
Here is their football page with oodles of other coverage. http://www.theguardian.com/football

Dier should have been off after the first foul on Hazard. The second was just as bad. No yellow card on that one. LOL.

Bayern overspend their league by a ridiculous margin. City have Chelsea to compare with, and to a point, United as well.
America's favorite sport is our football. 2nd favorite? Whining about soccer. LOL! All day, whenever anyone wanted to talk about Leicester's improbable run, someone would shout them down for a number of reason. Mind you, I only listened to the equivalent of 20 minutes of sports radio. It was enough. The complaints are as follows.
1. They won the league on a draw. Actually two draws. Draws make me sad. Draws make my dick soft.
2. The game is not American enough. (Donald Trump would agree)
3. Who did they beat in the title game? (This one made me cry. LOL! You mean, they played EVERY TEAM in their league, not once, but TWICE, ended up with the best record, and now they need a championship game, in case one of those teams gets lucky and pulls out a win? Were the 2007 Giants really better than the Patriots? How many other catches did what's his name catch with his helmet in his whole crappy career?)
4. The game is not American enough.
5. The game is not American enough.
I completely agree. Can't embrace anything that's not American enough. Why can't they make it more American? Instead of relegating the crappy teams they should reward their crappiness by finding the next Lebron James and awarding him to the crappiest teams. That will show them.
As I said elsewhere during the last World Cup, what bugs me is how people think soccer is less legitimate for reasons they have no problem with in other sports.
Players flop in basketball all the time, but its soccer diving that's evil. Baseball is incredibly tedious, yet those four-hour Yankee-Red Sox games are supposedly great. And soccer games finish in under two hours. NFL players feign injury to try to slow down the no-huddle. But soccer players feigning injury is just terrible.
The amount of diving taking place in soccer is infuriating, but I get your point.
Looking like an all-Madrid UCL final.
City will $hit the bed big time tomorrow.
City were badly outplayed at home last week. That is a concern, but anything can happen. Huge result preventing a goal at home.
As AtlΓ©tico could tell you.

NFL WRs are just as bad as any soccer player in trying to goad referees into calling fouls.
Disagree.

People said losing Dilva hurt...but honestly, the guy has been a non factor in just about every match this season. As much as I hate that sack of $hit Yaya, not having him on set pieces hurt...a lot. City was absolute garbage in that area, and were lucky as hell they didn't concede goals.
If MP had a sack, he's start Navas on the bench, and put in Nacho...you lose a bit of pace, but you get a guy who won't get picked in the box, and can FINISH...something only one other City player does regularly...DeBruyne. Even Aguero is pressed to score.
Ridiculous that he doesn't start Nacho every week.
They are playing some serious soccer over in Spain. Both Euro contests will likely have nothing but Spanish teams in the finals.
Honestly, I think La Liga is top heavy...there is a TON of garbage in that league. Basically they are glorified scrimmages for Real, Barca, Atleti, etc.
I mean, MCFC isn't the best team in PL...and they could easily be in the UCL title game. Hell, if you suited up LCFC vs Real today, I talk Leicester all damn day. Would probably even lean to Spurs except they are so damn young.
That's why I am a fan of EPL...league parity. La Liga it's always going to be Barca, Real or in an odd year Atleti.
Bundesliga it's Bayern and everyone else.
Serie A, Juve and everyone else.
Well, Liverpool beat Villarreal anyway.
Last time I looked at the league coefficient, Italy were 4 or 5 points behind England, who were 3 or 4 points behind Germany, who were about *20* points behind Spain.
I take it back: Spain are actually 25 points ahead of Germany.
Meet the 97-year-old fan who helped present Leicester City the Premier League trophy:

This bit from the article is the best:

βSheβs amazing,β says Helen. βWe once went to a match where everyone was shouting 'the ref is a w*****' - and she stood up and repeated it really loudly - just at the moment it had just gone quiet. Everyone cheered and went mad.β

And the choke job continues. Life as a Spurs fan. No way they beat Newcastle next week and no way Man City beat Arsenal, because, you know, that would help Spurs?
Speaking of choke jobs, I actually pegged us to lose to Arsenhole...a tie is actually better than I imagined.
If ManUre lose to West Ham that means our destiny is back in our control. If they don't then we are likely headed for 5th place and Europa League.
The post game love fest for Mucho Pussaweenie was gag-worthy.
I can only imagine what sort of nicknames you're going to come up with for Pep Guardiola.
I've already trademarked Poop Munchiola, Pepto A$$hole and Count Pepula.
But he gets a pass his first year. It's all puppies and ice cream in 2016-17.
To be honest, I was hoping Man City would finish 4th and Pep would fail in CL qualifying.
A distinct possibility.
I should have added that wasn't an anti-Packfoo comment; it was an anti-Pep comment.
