Offense clicking so far- open shots are at least dropping. Seems like they came ready to play. Just waiting for the dreaded scoring drought though...
Well, they get up 9 and Michigan finishes on a 14-4 run. Berggren with a few really bad shots in that run. But the defense broke does there too- they're letting Burke penetrate and it's making for too many was baskets.
Was that the fastest first half ever?
Anyway, I thought Michigan would win this handily but I like what I've seen on offense. They are moving the ball well and getting good looks.
Maybe they can steal one here!

If they don't start rebounding they're going to lose this game. That's the difference right now.
Just allowing too many good looks... They seem like they're too content to throw up bombs, too. Need to slow the game down, as those long rebounds are all Michigan needs to get that tempo where they like it.

Unbelieveable!!!!!! Here we go again! For what it's worth I think Bruiser did foul before Michigan's 3 but it was not called. looked like he hacked the guy good across the arm.

Looking at the box score. Zero fouls for Brust, Berggren and Evans. Played tough D too. Michigan shot 40% from the field and 29% on 3s. Also Badgers blocked 6 shots.

That was insane. I thought it was over when Dekker got called for the crap offensive foul but then they hung in there. Brust then willed them to win.

2. No championship, but a loss could have ended UW's chances at a Big Ten championship.

Remember, these are mainly 18-22 year old kids who don't get chances at this very often. And I am talking about the fans, not the players. Don't judge, just let the kids have fun.

Damn fun game to watch. I thought they blew it with a few bad turnovers near the end. Isn't every game that Bucky has more TOs than their opponent. Bergren's slam dunk down the middle of the lane was a thing of beauty. Not sure why Michigan didn't just foul on that last Badger possession before Brust made the shot, maybe afraid that it would be during a shot attempt and result in 3 FTs. Bo's got them peaking again during the heart of the BT season.

One of three coaching gaffes at the end of the game and that was number three.
1. Bucky not fouling when they had THREE! Count 'em THREE to give before Hardaway hits the three.
2. Bo not realizing they were in the 1-1 and leaving Evans in to brick another field goal.
3. Michigan not fouling Brust. Although that one was understandable.
This thread would be going bonkers over Bo is they lost that game. Obviously very uncharacteristic. I suppose he was due for some gaffes!

I think the only one complaining is you CB. THEY WON THE GAME. What more do you want?
It sure looked to me that Bruiser was trying to foul Hardaway on the go ahead 3 but it wasn't called. Just a great shot by him anyway. Then you have a perfect pass to Brust for a halfcourt shot. Unreal.
Just a great overall game and a huge win for UW. For all the griping about Bo Ryan this might be his best coaching job yet (this season). How someone can piss and moan at this point is beyond me. No one expected this team to play this well

They played their best game by far, IMO. They were aggressive on offense (great ball movement) and they actually shot well.
Those were two pretty big coaching gaffes at the end however. Dakich said it may have been the dumbest move he has ever seen (the no foul). I am going to be curious to hear Bo's response on it. I do get the maybe missed foul on Bruiser but they should have fouled twice by then.

He said it during the game as it was going on and after he made the shot several times. You weren't even watching it according to your above post. I did not see the postgame interview. Obviously he didn't say to Bo that it was the dumbest decision he had seen but he did on the broadcast.
If Dakich was so great with strategy he would be coaching and not sitting behind a mic guessing what other coaches that actually have a coaching job are doing.
