HA HA HA! Francis still getting passed around and abused like a Cabana boy on a Limbaugh Love Cruise.

Keep those donations pouring in Francis! You are aware aren't you that there's a whole group of people just like you who pay people to abuse 'em? You are a special kind of idiot, just not that special.

From now on you do need to start each post with Yes Mistress X4 though.

Are you insinuating that I should feel bad about throwing Boris a few bucks to help fund a website that he is running with nothing but his own money?

I give money to several boards that are funded solely by the person that runs it.

I'd probably feel worse if I were actually a packler fan. 1974 registered members at last count, and you guys are so pathetically cheap that Boris has to still fund the site out of his own pocket.

Bunch of damn ingrates.

Good point. It makes it harder to understand why the signed Jennings and moved up in the draft to get Patterson when they had Michael Jenkins, Jerome Simpson, and Devin Aromoshodu going deep. Roll Eyes

True dat. That's why you're a minor league troll.

LOL...leave it to the simple minded fool to think that was something epic. Who has more homosexual tendencies, you or henwy?

It seems to weigh heavily on both of your minds as evidenced by your posts.

You forgot Yes Mistress X4.

Simple minded fool = paying someone they hate to abuse them... over and over and over again. I truly cannot comprehend what kind of a colossal twit would do that.

Or... are you really that lonely on the road Francis? Are you that desperate for any attention? Well aside from the hotel maids & crack whores who spurn your advances. Just you and your smartphone all alone in the big scary world.

I think it's a good move. There were times when Ponder showed some aptitude at the QB position, and times when he looked like a bust. I don't think that's surprising coming from a guy who entering his first season as a starter, 2nd year in the league, and also his first season with a training camp.

A young, inexperienced, QB without out any outside weapons certainly has the deck stacked against him.

Bringing in Jennings and drafting Patterson does 2 things. It immediately makes the WR corp better, and it eliminates an excuse for Ponder, and the staff for keeping Ponder around should he fail.

He has a year under his belt. The best RB in the game. A fairly solid O-Line. And now he has a legitimate WR along with a promising, although untested, rookie.

You will absolutely know what you have in Ponder after this year, and there will be no need to drag it out as the previous regime did with Jackson.

If it works, great. If not, you have a pretty good nucleus to either bring in an accomplished vet, or you look to the next step.

Surrounding Ponder with better players is hardly a bad move.

Harvin ā€¦ Great player

Harvin, this great player who was leading the league wasn't a good weapon for worm-burner Ponder? With AP going off for 2000+ yards and "Great player Harvin" on one side, an average QB should be able to connect on the 21+ yard throws at better than a 19 QB rating.

How good does Fitz make those ARI QBs look?

Harvin very rarely does/did any damage on passes of 21+. Great player? Absolutely. But his bread and butter is yac on short throws.

Fitz had more receptions than any packler receiver other than Cobb. Do you think Skelton/Kolb are great QBs? Of course not. You need to have competent WRs also....unless you're going to come back and tell me now that Jenkins/Aromoshadou/Simpson are good now?

I wouldn't know where to look, but it would be interesting to see how many times Percy was targeted on a pass play covering more than 20 yards. I would bet that it was minimal as that isn't his game.

I didn't dismiss the fact that they lost Harvin. His game isn't in the 21+ range. You also can't dismiss the fact that he was a malcontent, a problem in the locker room, missed significant time last year, and that they went on to play better as a team after he was told to stay away.

I just read an article where the reason Harvin was threatening to sit out the beginning of the year was because "his boy" Aaron Hernandez had just signed his big contract and Harvin felt slighted.

Jennings brings different skills to the Vikings than what Harvin had, no doubt. As does Patterson. And no, nobody know what to expect form him. Same with any rookie.

Winfield was starting to break down and was playing strictly the nickel. Again, he was a good player, but it was very similar to the Woodson situation. There's going to be a point when it's time to move on. He definitely wasn't worth the $7.25M on his contract, and I'm not going to pretend that I know what kind of talks went on behind closed doors.

It will be interesting to see how Winfield holds up, and how Harvin behaves if he isn't the focal point of the offense.

If Jayblo is a smoker he will have to quit or else help pay for the new stadium.

As part of the tax conversion, retailers must take inventory on packs already in stores. By mid-July they must report their counts to the state and pay a one-time floor stock tax by early September. Floor tax proceeds have been earmarked to pay debt on the new Minnesota Vikings stadium
