If you watch his left foot when he rolls over after the sack, it looks like his toes are pointed back toward him more than what's normal. (I'll take Achilles tear for $400, Alex, although it may be only a partial tear.) And yes, if he had taken the wide-open guy crossing from left to right, his injury wouldn't have happened. But, he wanted to make a hero play on the first drive...

I tore my achilles tendon completely, and if that happens you can't push off with your foot.  It looked like he was pushing off with his foot, so it could be a partial tear.  None of the possibilities are going to get us a #1 unfortunately.

The dummy wanted the Jets, a cursed organization playing on a bad field.  And a bad OL with few weapons.

Or had no appreciation for how well he was protected all those years while he bitched about everything else.

I know the 'thing" is to tie the Jets' OL to AR's, but pretty sure that had nothing to do with it. Much like two pass plays earlier, the Tackle blocked down to chop the Edge guy because it was supposed to be a quick route. AR didn't throw it and the Floyd had a clear path to him.

But keep pushing the OLine narrative.
