100% agreed.

To be honest, I kind of proud of the Packers. They weren't supposed to be in this game at all, but we played them tough. Not the way I wanted it to end, but we have no reason to hang our heads.

Proud of the way they played but pissed too because they should have won the game.  Ending the season like that two years in a row is unbelievable.

The kind of down year Derpvante had?  Not out of the question if he doesn't get his **** together big time in TC.

Janis just sewed up the #5 WR spot next year - Abby probably will be gone.

Nelson, Cobb, Adams, Montgomery, Janis.

After tonight and hopefully with the offseason, Janis will be our solid #3.

That ain't happening yet.

How about Dam Randall coming to play in the playoffs! Kid is gonna be a stud!

I ripped on Jake Ryan, but I have to give him credit. He looked really good against the run. Gotta work on his coverage, but he has better instincts than I gave him credit for. Love being rong like that!

No reason to draft a wide receiver high in April.  Maybe they just need a better receivers coach - - or a head coach who isn't so damn stubborn.

I think Janis earned some more playing time

Janis made McCarthy look like an idiot.  With the way the receivers couldn't get open most of the season there was no reason Janis shouldn't have gotten more reps earlier in the season.

Janis blew some routes and  reads early also. He's physically gifted, but (football) mentally stunted.

Davante is gonna be a great WR for this team.

The offensive staff doesn't look great after seeing how productive Janis and Abby were tonight. They should have been given more opportunities earlier in the year with how inept the offense looked. They were productive tonight as the main options vs a very good defense

First of all, thank you to Cuqui for doing such a great job in setting up these posts.  They rock.

Since the early 70s, when I recall being sat in front of the TV to watch Bart Starr retire, I have sat.  And screamed.  And dealt with a number of terrible Packer teams, until the early 90s.  But tonight.  How could this possibly be worse than the Seahawks debacle?  A coin toss.  Really.  Might as well be a shell game near Central Park.  Done.  See ya.  I will always love, Dickey, Dave Roller, Favre, the Undertaker, Lofton, never sending Jefferson out deep, and the bond between my family and the Sunday's we had with the Pack.  But the NFL has become a league of injuries, arbitrary catch rules, and, now, obscure rules on coin tosses?  WTF

Done.  See ya.  I have better ways to waste a Sunday.

I like that you are passionate about the games. That's why we're fans.

Fitzgerald is extremely well respected (from SBnation.com)

Perhaps even more for his impressive play on the field, Fitzgerald is known for his friendly personality.

Even the most outspoken cornerbacks in the league like Richard Sherman and Josh Norman have said they need to prepare themselves for an onslaught of kindness when the face off against Fitzgerald.

"He’s just a genuine human being," former Steelers defensive back Ike Taylor told Kevin Clark of the Wall Street Journal. "You can’t trash talk that."

The respects he gets from his teammates is even more pronounced. Michael Floyd has credited Fitzgerald with teaching him how hard he needed to work to succeed as a pro receiver.

"I could sit here all day and talk about how beneficial it’s been to play and learn under a guy like Larry," Floyd wrote in an essay for The Players' Tribune. "And at the end of the day, I hope my development and success can benefit him by giving him the extra space he needs to make the big plays he’s become known for making, and eventually help get him that Super Bowl ring he’s been chasing since he’s been in the league."

Before the 2015 season, Fitzgerald's productivity had been in sharp decline. Due to a number of factors -- a revolving door at quarterback, lingering knee injury, a move to slot receiver -- Fitzgerald hadn't topped 1,000 yards receivers in three straight seasons. He finished the 2014 season with just 784 yards and a career-low two touchdowns in 14 games.

At that point, some might have written Fitzgerald off as a has-been. But then came his revival. Alongside a healthy Carson Palmer, Fitzgerald finished the regular season tied for fifth in the league for receptions and ranked ninth in the league for total receiving yards with 1,215. The Cardinals' offense has been dominant, ranking No. 1 in total offense and coming in second in passing offense with 288.5 yards per game.

The Cardinals are a complete team, too. The defense is ranked fifth in the league, and that gives them a good shot to make it back to the Super Bowl this year.

Fitzgerald isn't getting younger, but the good news is that considering the way the Cardinals have played this season, that elusive Super Bowl ring seems attainable. And it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I'm about as proud of this team as you can be after a playoff loss.   That was an amazing game with Janis and Abby stepping up it was so fun to watch.  My expectations have been pretty low the past couple of months but tonight I really thought we would play well enough to win, couldn't get much closer than that.

There is no way that this loss is as bad as last years, I don't even feel bad which is weird.  I'm just really proud to be a Packer fan tonight, that was a great team that we just played with and almost beat.  No need to blame anyone for the loss, I'm just glad that we didn't embarrass ourselves and we looked like we belonged there with arguably the best team in the league.

Damn proud of the 2015 team and I'm already excited to see the 2016 team.

Go PACK GO!!!

people blaming the defense in here blows my ****ing mind

I don't think its that unreasonable. Especially in the aftermath of a gut wrenching loss. They were healthier. Our #1 CB dropped 3 potential picks. And they turned what look like a sure first down sack the first play of a miracle OT into a misadventure of pathetic tackling without the offense even touching the ball. Like Seattle last year they finished poorly. They seemed to run out of steam.

Good to see Janis and Abby step up.  Hopefully #84 can stay healthy and #83 can continue to develop because both guys showed something tonight.

Not sure any team - at any point - was starting their #5 and #6 receivers and a backup TE at the same time.

Packers gave it a go and the shame is they should have won.  Just really frustrating to see them fight like crazy only to have the D collapse in spectacular fashion once again.

Abby needs to keep hitting the weights.

Janis needs to train with Abby and Jordy in the offseason and hire a professional WR coach for the times he's not, to learn the nuances of route running and adjusting his routes depending on coverage. If he can learn how to play WR at this level he certainly has the physical tools to contribute in a major way.

While Olivia is off making movies in the offseason Rodgers should spend a couple weeks with all his WRs, bonding and practicing. On his nickel. He can afford it. And Russ Wilson and other top tier QBs have done this as well.

Eddie needs to decide what is important to him. If it's football then hire a personal trainer and come into camp at 235. Ted and Mike need to make it clear to him that his career is in the balance.

I'm too whupped to add any more right now.

Love this team and love x4. Thanks to so many posters who teach me about my team and football every day. And a big hat tip to Boris for major-domoing everything.
