The Lions future is in the Bear's hands. If the Bears go into hibernation the Lions will make it. If the Bears show some pride Detoilet will be in trouble.
Win games.
We're nobody's underdog.
I'll say this right now.
I am going to thoroughly enjoy an all NFC sched of Thanksgiving football. Some good teams are going to see their playoff hopes take a hit this Thursday.
Thats going to be a relaxing and enjoyable day of thanks for family, friends, and the Green Bay Packers.
Find a way to win this weekend & we have a real shot of being #1 seed. After NE game other potential #1's have a much more difficult schedule than we do.
The Browns being the second seed, who woda thuk it.
Raiola told @davebirkett he dove at Zach Moore's knees in retaliation for Blount's 2nd TD when he felt the Pats should've taken a knee.

strange that all 6 Thanksgiving day teams are in the NFC and in the playoff hunt (yeah technically bares arent eliminated just yet)
not complaining but I thought they tried to balance the conference slate a bit. first time since the merger no AFC teams on thanksgiving
so are we rooting for Niners over Hags?
Both Niners and Hags have so many tough games ahead I'm rooting for a tie. Half loss for both.
I would say it's probably in GB's best interest that AZ win the West, even if makes them the top seed. I don't see them winning a playoff game regardless of where and when it is played, so the 2 seed is as good as home field advantage for the Pack IMHO. I'm pulling for Cards from here on out, and hoping the 9ers and Hawks split that series.
I always find it helpful to have my rooting interests squared away before sitting down to watch a game I have absolutely no impact on.

Que Cyndi Lauper's True Colors tune with that Lions team. They've racked up mass penalties the last 3-4 games, discipline is going back into the crapper, and now the return of the cheap shots.
Jim Schwartz' fingerprints are still on that team.

Which games do you have a impact on?
I want them to beat each other up to the point that we get top seed. Bonus would be Niners and Hawks out of playoffs, Cards headed to Lambeau for the championship.
All of them. I haven't shaved since the Orleans loss.
See what happened?
After going through the ESPN Playoff Machine I have the Packers getting the #2 seed at 12-4 (losing on some tie-breaker or another to Arizona). But, if GB happens to lose the finale against Detroit they'd lose the division and be out of the playoffs altogether. Those wild-card slots are tough to come by. I suppose in my scenario I had the Eagles taking the East, we should cheer against that since we have the head-to-head advantage for a wildcard tie-break. Of course that also goes for if we both win our divisions and go for that #2 seed.
What we really need is for Detroit to get kicked around by some truly crappy teams. Go Bears?
Don't see how five losses would cause us to lose out on wild card....
DET wins out
GB loses only to DET in week 17. Both teams end up 12-4; DET wins the division on head-to-head.
DAL and PHI split their two head-to-head games and win their other three games. Both end up 12-4; I think PHI would win the divison by virtue of a better divisional record.
SEA or SF wins out to get to 12-4; ARI wins at least three the rest of the way.
You'd have three wild-card contenders with 12 wins: one in the NFC West, one in the NFC East, and GB. I don't know which team would lose on the tiebreaker.
Lance Briggs thinks you are a dipshiit
I think Cowboys may be a tough out.
If Det loses one to the Bears and then one to us, they could be out with 6 losses. It all depends on how the West beats up on eachother and if one of the two from the East can sweep.
In short, there are still way too many scenarios and I have effectively said nothing.
Yes! The Ghosts of Schwantz past will come back and haunt them the rest of the way!
4-7 ATL leads the south.
8-7-1 Division Champs keeps me humble.
All of them. I haven't shaved since the Orleans loss.
See what happened?
Yeah, bet you're looking smaller down there these days.
8-7-1 Division Champs keeps me humble.
Agreed. But, hey....at least it was a winning record!
We won't get that fourth loss.
8-7-1 Division Champs keeps me humble.
Actually that record humiliates Detroit , Minnesota and Chicago.
8-7-1 Division Champs keeps me humble.
Still a winning record.
I don't understand how they are projecting DallAss as winner of NFCE. Philly has a current H2H advantage.
Ditto for Cards being projected as 5th seed. They're 3 games up on DallAss on conference record; 2 games up on Philly.
We won't get that fourth loss.
Loss to NE will be a "Moral win".
No such thing, not at home.
No such thing, not at home.
I will accept an "Immoral win"
I will accept PatriotPatrick.
