You think so huh?  I guess you don't remember the game where the Packers sleep walked after the death of Joe Philbin's son.  They played about the same that day as they played yesterday.

The short week didn't help either. I suppose that is he 2nd most redickuluos thing you've ever heard too.

The best teams are the ones left standing at the end of the playoffs. If Seattle is there then we will have to beat them, if they aren't then they aren't one of the best teams.

Played around with the ESPN Playoff Machine. If Lions beat Chicago and Pack lost to Tampa in week 16, even if Pack beats Lions in week 17 we are the 6th seed and go to Detroit for 1st playoff game.  Even if Philly wins out and we beat Tampa and lose to Detroit we still get the 6th seed and would travel to Dallas if they win out.

Packers NEED to win this week.  Locks up at least a 6th seed.

Detroit's path the playoffs is interesting. They hold tiebreakers over Dallas and Philly even if they beat Chicago and lose to GB, but not Seattle or Arizona. The win vs. Chicago is arguably more important for them than the win vs. GB. Obviously the win vs. GB will be crucial because it will mean homefield advantage, but if they lose to Chicago they will be fighting to even make it in against GB.

For anyone thinking/hoping/even suggesting it for sake of playoff scenarios that Arizona beats Seattle this weekend...

No one in NFL history has attempted as many passes (181) as Ryan Lindley without throwing a single TD.  Only one other QB in NFL History other than Lindley has attempted 150 or more passes without a TD, Mike Kruczek.

Since 1950, only 2 QBs with >150 attempts have a lower Y/A than Ryan Lindley's 4.32.  Spergon Wynn at 3.85 and Kim McQuilkin at 4.17.

Looking at QBs from 1990 to present, one could argue that the only QB that could be possibly considered worse than Lindley is Spergon Wynn.

So, yeah.  That guy leading Arizona over Seattle would be an upset of Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson levels.

Frankly, if the Arizona offense scores a single point (unless Seattle turns it over deep in their own zone) I will be surprised.
