Brees' first pass is picked off, Detroit already up 14-0.
Justin Herbert answers a Brady TD with a bomb TD of his own, 7-7 in the first.
Factory of Disaster up early on the CokeBoys, 7-0.

Brady with a pick-6. Chargers up 14-7.
Brady just threw a Pick-6
Brady with a Pick 6. The kid doesn't even need to step on the field to get the lead.
Lots of early scoring.
And the 'Aints answered back. 14-7 in Detoilet.
Skip barely had time getting Brady's nuts off his chin with a tweet about the him not being washed up, and then - BOOM!! - pick 6!
Brady no arm strength
Dumpa Bay still in effect
Once a Viking, always a Viking: Andrew Sendejo just lowered his shoulder (and head), whiffed and Amari Cooper scored.
It's about time for Cousins to throw a pick 6.
4th and 2 at the 23 and MM goes for it? He lucked out on that one.
5 year contract for MM -- He ain't getting fired this year -- might as well go for it. Can't win with FG's
Taysom Hill fumbles on a gadget play again, but the Saints recover in the red zone. Announcers criticizing Payton for play calling.
I think the "Taysom Hill" thing was brilliant ion the beginning....when teams weren't ready for it. But it's not a surprise play anymore. Defenses always adjust over time.
Loins petered out pretty quick.
Not to be outdone by anyone, Pad Statford throws an INT in the EZ.
Love this QB for Chargers......., stands right in there. Gonna be hurting later today tho.
Tough to remove the Lion stink

Nice toss there
I just checked and it's true. There were points scored in the Jags/Bungles game.
I feel bad for J.J. Watt stuck on that awful team for his whole career.
MM and team getting an ass kicking so far.
And how bad must Houston suck?
Harrison Smith got DQ'd.
The Texans are turrible

The fact that the Saints, who constantly are mortgaging their future salary to extend their star players contracts, gave Hill 16 million to play this year is mindboggling. Unless Payton is planning on Brees not playing every game and feels that Hill is a star QB in waiting.
Hill may be an okay/good/great QB someday. I'm just referring to the gimmick call with him in shotgun or he and Brees both on the field at the same time.
Would be interested to k ow the success rate of TH's plays this season.

Looking at the video, that's a tough call on Harrison Smith. He's going low and Fells starts to fall over. Smith was aiming for his midsection and ends up hitting his head because Fells is going down. I get the 15-yard penalty, but don't agree with the ejection. He wasn't headhunting.
LMAO @MM's Cowboys.
Taysom Hill has never thrown a TD pass -- he's caught like 6 I think.
He's nothing....Nothing & Payton tries to show everyone his "jeeenyousness" by using him
Big Mac's defense already in post-season form down in Big D.
All that fancy analytic studyin' really paid off for him.
The Cowboys look so much like a Mike McCarthy led team. Tons of contested catches on offense, no defense to speak of, and tons of injuries for no apparent reason.

Today's Taysom Hill fumble was in the first half, but a similar situation to last week. The Saints have the momentum and are driving for a go-ahead score and Hill fumbles the snap. The Saints were lucky to recover it. The announcers comments were that your best chance to have a positive play is to go with Drew Brees and what's been working.
Hard to see how Matt Patricia hangs onto his job if this continues, but they are the Lions.
Once the Cokeboys' OL was dismantled, they were done.
That was the strongest part of their entire team, and Prescott and Elliott flourished. Now....not so much.

He's already 30 years old.

Jim Caldwell
2014 11-5 (made playoffs)
2015 7-9
2016 9-7 (made playoffs)
2017 9-7
Fired because 9 wins "wasn't good enough"
Matt Patricia
2018 6-10
2019 3-12-1
2020 1-3 (projected)
@Herschel posted:Taysom Hill is Drew Stanton with a more creative coach.
And a 16 million dollar contract.

Ouch!
It's kind of like Brees and Brady are going to play until one (or both) are carted off the field forever.

Just like McDaniels, Patricia will get fired and go back home to his daddy in NE.
Reminds me of Eddie Adams trying to make it big on his own, only to have to go back to Jack Horner, the one who made him famous, in the end.
