I think that is exactly what happened. Stokes missed what a whole season and good chunk of another to injury? He was pretty darn good at the beginning so maybe he found out he can still play.
Stokes is Kevin King with less lateral agility and man coverage skills, but a bit better straight line speed. Injuries have robbed them of what they could have been, though Stokes may still be okay if he can stay healthy going forward.

I thought I saw a post that said Minnesota only has 4 draft picks, in 2025, due to all the maneuvering they did, last draft, to get McCarthy. I think their GM, Kwesi, will sell their soul, once again, to get more picks. And when Kwesi finds out that the vikings are at 24 while the Packers are at 23, in the draft, he might move up, just so he can be above the Packers, when the vikings select. That would be a Minnesota move, for sure.
After the weekend I think the Pack picks 23rd and the queens 24th in this years draft. Also read MN only has 3 picks in this draft, their 1st and two 5ths, plus maybe a compensatory pick.

The team traded it's second, third and fourth round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft in exchange for the pick the team used to take OLB Dallas Turner during the 2024 NFL Draft.
The team's sixth and seventh round picks were traded to the Cleveland Browns in the Smith deal which took place in May of 2023.
The Vikings are expected to be awarded one compensatory pick according to this NFL.com article based on free agency comings and goings this past year.

I don't think they would. The only way to get a draft pick for a coach would be agreeing to a lateral move.

I think they would. Someone pointed out that SF had a good thing going with their last 3? DC's who were promoted and SF got I think RD3 picks for them. Which really came in handy when they were trading away all their higher picks for FA's and moving up for Trey Lance.
Well traditionally they would under the scenario Iâve pointed out, but will they seeing heâs already been a head coach? And will the Packers get a pick if Saleh gets a HC job this year?

We all laughed at the Vicklings not having any picks last year but I would be happy to trade Morgan, Monk and Hopper and for VanGinkle Greenard and A Jones. It got them 14 wins and a whisker for Home field. But the Vicklings are gonna Vickling
