Watsons dad speaks the truth but honestly is there any fan base that does not do exactly that. Cut and paste that comment for any team out there.

There is truth in what he says, and you are correct any fanbase does that for sure. Are we spoiled and some of us entitled as fans? oh absolutely we are but when our team for the majority of the last 30+ years has had some very good teams there will be expectations that come with it.

I feel badly for Watson (especially with the ACL) and I think he has had some really bad luck with injuries.  I obviously know nothing behind the scenes, but I do question if he could have played in some games that he has missed.

Behind a paywall, but according to Pete, this is the FA pass rusher that fits GB the best. Milton (Milty?!) fits both the right age, the right upside, and also won't cost a ton if the Packers pursue him.

Gives me Zadarius vibes (hopefully Milty has the right attitude) when Gute signed him off the Ravens. Smith was also a part-time pass rusher who was behind a talented DL with the Ravens at the time Gute snagged him.

Milton Williams, Philadelphia Eagles

If Gutekunst thinks he can get more bang for the free-agent buck from an inside rusher, Williams is probably the guy who’d interest him most. The Eagles’ free agent is young enough (26 in April) and coming off a season in which he had seven sacks in 21 games (playoffs included). He also finished third on the Eagles in pressures, behind Carter and Sweat.

Williams has been a part-time player and mainly a pass rusher who’s never played even 50% of the Eagles’ defensive snaps in a season. But his performance last season and in the playoffs could easily land him a contract in the range of $15 million a year.

“Milton’s intriguing,” one of the scouts said. “He made plays for them, especially this year. He's essentially a backup for them, but he makes more plays than Jordan Davis. He deserves to be a starter, he deserves to get the money he’s going to get. I think he’ll be a good player, not one of those guys that made plays and then you pay him and he’s nothing.”
