Remember when LA going all in in 2021 by trading draft picks for Stafford, Von Miller, Jalen Ramsey, etc. was seen as a negative by some Packer fans who were absolutely certain that the Rams were on the road to ruination?

Poor Rams fans may have that 2021 Super Bowl win and another playoff game to look forward to next weekend but think of how jealous they were watching the Packers draft Eric Stokes, Quay Walker, Devonte Wyatt, and Lukas Van Ness.

The Packers traded a 7th for Malik Willis

Viking FO: Hey Sam....

You played great for 16 games this season. Did ya notice we have a 17 game schedule now?

We'd love it if you'd come back in 2025 to backup JJ McCarthy. What say you??

Sam: 😳🀯

I think the Packers and Vikings (and we will see about the Lions) were both slightly above average teams that benefitted from a schedule where they played the Titans, Colts, and Jaguars (and the Bears twice). The Vikings also got the Jets and Giants. That's 7 wins against some very weak teams.

I can empathize with some of the basic emotions that comes with the ups-and-downs of a team over a period of years.
Disappointment, frustration, anger... I get it.

But I'm always comforted by the fact that the Packers will never be the Vikings, and I'll never be a Vikings fan.
Green Bay could fold tomorrow, and I'd be willing to bet over the next 100 years the Vikings couldn't match what the Packers have accomplished to date.

And I don't want to hear any "expansion team" crap. Minneapolis/Minnesota had their chance to play with the big boys back to the 1920's.
Not our fault if they couldn't hang...

On the money, Timmy!

Darnold is about to be thrown under the bus, in Minnesota. The guy got them 14 wins, albeit with what I consider a soft schedule, and the vikings Twin Cities media are giving him a lot of the blame for the loss against the Rams. The past two games for the vikings were losses to the Lions and to the Rams, and the media/fanbase are using that to discredit Darnold. Not that I care. I don't. How about looking at their OL, whose stellar blocking gave up 9 sacks? How about looking at Flores's Defense which gave up 27 points. The media guys on KARE 11, post game, were going to great lengths to not blame the Defense, too much, for this loss. I think they may be afraid that criticism of the Defense may send Flores packing. And here I am, basking in the glow of their meltdown. Now, if the Packers can get a pass rush, next season...
