Maybe our run defense is not exactly fixed.
Hold em to 3
Montgomery looks ok

What do you expect from a Pettine defense?
The call on the kickoff was questionable, but it's a special teams error to even bring that 40 yardline starting field position into play. If that's 4th and 3 from midfield they punt.
The defense getting dominated (mainly be having guys like Lancaster get dominated) on a long drive makes it worse.
It gives the Bears a shot of confidence right off the start.
This friggin' defense, I swear, is gonna be the death of me.
Come on run D
Lancaster, beast. Fucking A.
Horrible interior D
Nice to see the run defense showed up. 🙄
That blown ruling on the opening kickoff is huge. They should have been at the flipping one.
Screw the NFL.
The only way to slow down Rodgers is for Petines defense to allow 8 minute drives.
Fuck Lancrapper, bring in Snacks
Where’s the D we saw last week?
Martin whiffed
Not an impressive beginning for the defense.
I’m so fucking over Lowry and Lancaster.
Not sure what part of this was unclear.

Snacks arrives....we got worse.
Lovely defense so far.
Need Rodgers to put up at least 42.
14 plays 60 yards 7.5 min. Jeenious
Serious, WTF is Lancaster doing there?
Bears aren't gonna just lay down today. Pack better know this is a playoff game.

Well, when you pick up someone off waivers who literally says he does not want to play and does not want to be claimed off waivers, you shouldn't really expect a lot of effort on or off the field.

Don't even kick it near the sideline and it's not a problem. If Crosby was told to kick it to the sideline that's a special teams coaching decision problem. It probably stems from not wanting to kick it to the middle and allow a return since they special teams kick return coverage is among the worst in the NFL.
Let's hope the offense answers.
Lancaster just getting manhandled... leave him at Soldier after the game- he can rejoin Fitzgerald’s staff up the road...
Martin was unblocked in the hole but didn't make a solid hit on runner

I'll take 42 to 7
Who was listed as 4th starting LB today?
Really hard to give up a 14 play 60 yard drive. That’s something.

I agree, but regardless, where it was, and with clear evidence that it was touched, giving them the ball at the 40 is a big boost to the Bears.
Not only the kickoff bullshit call now Montgomery is down before the goalline but "close enough" let's give em the TD
Their special teams >>>>> our special teams.
Who’s at LT? Turner?
I see the Bears are going to go with the chickensh*t game plan all day...run, run run...after hearing everyone talk all week about how well Trubisky has played yadda yadda...so turn him loose then.
Come on offense.
Turner at LT; no Runyan.

Go ahead and clarify that. Is that why he signed because he didn’t want to be claimed off waivers? He’s been in twice after arriving this week.
