@TomSilverstein:  #Packers coach Matt LaFleur said he wanted to temper the expectations about OLB Za'Darius Smith's return. He said he would return to practice Wed. "If we can let him get back on the practice field, then we'll go." Said you have to remember how long it's been since he's practiced.

LaFleur said that he thinks T Billy Turner will make his return to practice this week, although he said he didn't know if that would be Wednesday or later on. Turner has been out with a knee injury.

@ByRyanWood: Matt LaFleur says there are "a lot of conversation going on right now" regarding best alignment for #Packers cornerbacks once Jaire Alexander returns. Good news is he appears to be on track, but he, Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas are all perimeter corners. Need to figure that out.

Matt LaFleur says there are "a lot of tough decisions" for #Packers to make with so many players returning, but he would "certainly expect" Lucas Patrick to be "one of the five" on starting offensive line for playoffs. Whether that's center or right guard, like yesterday, is TBD.

I don't know, Chongo, I think Meyers is an instant upgrade.  He's got monster size and when he went in against Detroit, it felt like our line was really getting some really good push in the running game, not to mention stoning the Detroit pass rush so much that Rodgers had all day - part of that was Bak, obviously.  Patrick has done a really good job though, I agree, and I think he should start at RG.

I mentioned in the game thread; it was clear AR had extra time to throw on some of the longer developing plays.  Unfortunately there was rarely anyone open downfield, even with the longer pocket.  Or was that him passing up the quick rhythm hitters and looking for the big chunks again, just because he could?  The quick and easy stuff was serving the offense well and I sure hope he doesn't abandon that part of the gameplan because he knows he'll have more time now that the line is improved.

I didn’t see the game as I was driving 4 hours to a memorial service for my cousin. However, Rodgers was 14-18 passing. That’s only 4 incompletions. What exactly are you irritated about?

No one is irritated.  Call it a concern.

Not throwing the ball at all means no one was open.  He was holding the ball longer than he had been in previous weeks = not throwing the ball = doesn't show up in the attempts/completions numbers.  You didn't see the game so you apparently don't know of which you speak.  There were 3-and-outs that probably didn't have to happen.

This was against DET, by the way.

They way were extremely pass heavy to open the game.  I don't think they will admit it, but I think the game plan revolved around putting Bahk through as many pass sets as possible before he exited.

I think Rodgers said exactly that from the electrical closet. Also, wanted to get Adams the Packers yardage record as packi said

Mike Wahle thinks he is too.
He made that comment in the podcast with Ahman Green, linked below

"...Myers is a monster upgrade"

From a physical standpoint, Wahle qualifies. But admits you may sacrifice other things (namely technique and experience) using him. Myers is the long term future of the position, but I was just saying were I coaching OL, I'd consider going with the horse that got you there this season.
