+ 10 - there were throws 12 would never have attempted down the middle of the field and the contested throws, giving your guys a chance...that was a very nice progression for 10 today...nfl is put on notice, this guy could be a problem.

+ Got Rusty's fireplace insert out and in the van and missed entire first half.

+ Can watch all the highlights on YT

+ We're not part of the guardrail bash and car bbq- ing on the NYS Thruway on the way to Buffalo

-  Got to travel home on said Thruway in the dark most of the way.

+ Completely unexpected win making it a great Thanksgiving.

I’ve been negative on this team and especially Love for several weeks now. No negatives today. The whole team stepped up and looked like a real NFL team. And the Lions don’t suck.

Agree on all above. Only 6 points entire 2nd half and those came directly off that dumb fake punt deep in their territory.

Yes I understand it makes sense sometimes to play the clock with a big lead.

The fact we came out guns blazing on both sides of the ball makes all that moot. Praise all around. Owens and Gary with monster games! Watson coming up big too! JL the past few weeks is a stud qb!

Tofurkey tastes a little sweeter today!

Please be safe......and happy Packers win and 🦃 day.

+++++

Watson had his best game in a year!! But not perfect. Lots to continue working on.

Dillon with another up & down day 🤷‍♂️

O-Line pass blocking....where in the fuck has that been all year?!?

MLF play calling....where in the fuck has that been all year?!?

Receivers not dropping balls.....where in the fuck has that been all year?!?

D-Line pass rush ....where in the fuck has that been all year?!?

I'm seeing a pattern....

J-Love....continues to improve and stay that even keeled guy. I like what I'm seeing!!!

The 4th down conversion fake to Dillon and kept it for a long run....should've just kept running - would've got another 5 - 10 yards easily although going down to avoid hit....smart play.  Big big play!!

@ammo - Definitely NOT putting that missed 63 yd FG in the negatives. That's the perfect time to try that. End of the half.  Not a positive but not a negative either.

The Punter!! Some outstanding punts inside the 10 yard line!! Very nice! 🙂👍🏼

Rashaan Gary = massive game wrecker - Lie-Downs had no answer for him

------------

Prevent defense prevents nothing....fortunately had a large enough lead and hung on to win. Get used to it folks....Bury isn't going anywhere, but hey!! He's hung onto his job longer than Matt Canada did....so he's got that going for him .....which is nice.

Only 6 points in 2nd half. Not good

2 pt "conversions" Jeezus fuck.....If they're THAT bad just kick the extra points from now on. Christ Almighty 🤦‍♂️

Defending 2-point conversions....if they continue being that bad nobody is going to even attempt an XP.

Packers 5-6. Mini-bye upcoming before KC. Hopefully they can continue playing well although beating KC will be a way taller task than beating the Lie-Downs

Enjoy the win everyone!! 🙂👍🏼 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

+ Dad is healthy enough to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.

- The turkey was done early so I spent the from the two minute warning on making all the fixings.

- We moved eight months ago and I have no idea which box the gravy boat is in.

- JoeBa

- Short yardage run game

+ Win in division

+ Watson!

+ Love stacking success!

+ MLF playcalling solid

+ First half OL A-, 2nd half OL B-

+ Win without #33

+ 10 days to get healthier and prep for the Chefs

+ Jordan Love and the Packers, on a short week, missing several key players due to injury, went into division leading Detroit’s house, and punched an 8-2 team in the mouth on national television.

It doesn’t get much better than that.

There were a lot of great performances today. Rashan Gary, for one, played like a man possessed. When his team needed him most, Gary absolutely dominated. Major kudos to him for coming all the way back from a major injury. The man is a beast!

But the biggest plus of all…this is clearly Jordan Love’s team now.

I’ve said more than once that the most important thing that could come out of this season was Jordan Love gaining the confidence he needed for the 2024 season and beyond.

He focused, continued to work hard, and stayed positive during a rough stretch. He didn’t let the negativity get him down. That’s what leaders do. The man has guts, and he’s earned my respect. What a pleasure it is to have this young man leading our team.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

+ A HUGE unexpected win.

- I’m going back through every thread  where X4 posters who are celebrating a win today, called for the Packers to lose out for “Draft position “  YOU DON’T GET TO CELEBRATE.

Positives

1. Love looked like the best current QB in the NFC North. He underthrew Watson a couple of times, but otherwise made some incredibly accurate and difficult throws

2. Rashan Gary was phenomenal

3. No stupid penalties. A very well coached and well poised team today.

4. Whelan was very good.

A. His first punt was mediocre (34 yards for a fair catch at the 16), but effective given there were 40 seconds left.

B. Second punt was 44 yards and downed at the one

C. Third was 39 yards and a fair catch at the 9

D. Fourth was 33 yards and fair caught at the 9

5. Ballentine and Valentine were very good. The safeties were very good as well.

6. The OL played their best game of the year against one of the best fronts in the NFL.

7. Even if they lose to KC, the rest of the games are all winnable which means they'll be playing meaningful games for the rest of the year.

Negatives

1. Carlson needs to be better. I don't expect him to hit 64 yard FGs, but too many missed XPs recently.

2. Dillon can't run the wrong play on 4th and 1.

3. They aren't getting Marvin Harrison Jr. or one of the premier LTs. I guess that's a good problem to have.

Does that include @Iowacheese ?? 🤭

Enjoy spending your Thanksgiving searching X4 threads.

Not sure where it all fits but ++++

This feels like a redemption game for Love, Watson, the OL, MLF, and Joe Barry.  It was also a welcome sign not to see a ton of penalties and miscues.

The punter and Gary had really good games.

As for negatives, well, tough to say there’s much there other than a top 5 pick is likely out the window.

Rush defense hasn’t been good.

Still, interested in where things go from here.  All of a sudden the game against KC has more meaning now.  One game at a time.

Positives

5. Ballentine and Valentine were very good. The safeties were very good as well.

Cabernet Sauvignon with turkey?

I had Rkatsiteli.  Not bad, although at the price point I think I prefer the Côtes du Rhônes I've had, or the Torrontés.

First solo Thanksgiving. Stove Top Stuffing goes great with Chardonnay.

Yes I do.   I’m not celebrating the win, I’m celebrating the growth.
