Jordan’s inconsistency is concerning but he’s not turning the ball over and is as cool as the other side of the pillow. Get all their weapons back, add a back with a profile like Aaron Jones and this will be a fun team to watch.

I really do think at least some percentage of that inconsistency was due to 3 weapons being out, and I think Wicks got hurt during the game that made it 4 guys out for a little while at least.

He wasn't inaccurate today, his incompletions were mostly a result of no where to throw the ball.

Agree. He still needs to clean up his footwork but there’s so much to like in his game. I keep reminding myself that his predecessor was (with Marino) the greatest arm talent in league history and that Love’s more unorthodox throwing motion is going to result in more misses than AR. The growth in his command of the game has been very impressive for a first year starter and his trajectory can only go up if he keeps putting in the work.

I only tuned in to the very end - so of course I did.  This fucking idiot moron MLF and his buddy Joe Bury can both fuck off.

Carolina is like the Iowa Hawkeyes offensively in the NFL.  Yet these dipshits allow 30 points and if not for a couple of missed XPs and a few seconds on the clock they lose this game.

To quote a former CEO I worked for “fire them all”

Joe Bury needs to be terminated right fucking now. Not allowed on the plane. Find your own way home. 🖕🏞ðŸĪŽðŸ–•ðŸž

While I want Joe gone too, what I hopehas happened is MLF has told Guety that Joe is gone at seasons ends , but is avoiding the in season firing. While that would make us fans happy,  it would only roil/cast confusion and uncertainty in the defensive locker room-- and we do still have an (admittedly thin) chance for a positive end to the season.

But then again if MLF is NOT committed to launching Joe at seasons end, then he has to go too!

mentioned in the game thread that the ending to this game mirrored the end of the Giants game.
The Packers were LUCKY to win this game. The Panthers had a real chance to win with one more play. Or tie it with a FG.
I don't know what kind of film MLF needs to watch to see that.
Hell, Ray Charles can see that, and he's not only blind, he's also dead!

The worst of it is there are guys playing hurt, and getting hurt during these games. And they are sacrificing themselves for .... what?
Barry's bizarre defense pissing away that kind of effort?
And MLF for allowing that bullshit to continue, week after week, year after year.

I disagree with that statement.

There is Z-E-R-O chance whoever is interim would be any worse than what Joe is right now.

Merry Christmas Joe GTFOH!

+ Jones- he hits the hole significantly faster than Dillon,

+ Kraft just keeps getting better

+ O-line was good in pass and run game

+ Great clutch play by Doubs

+ Bo Melton!

+ Like last week, d-front seemed to play pretty well

+ Love had a passer rating of 109 vs the third ranked pass defense

- The defense other than the front.

- Stop playing Dillon instead of Jones when the ball is inside the 10 yard line.

Also have to factor in that Carolina made adjustments that apparently blindsided MLF. They didn't allow Love to be comfortable during the second half, and as usual MLF has few answers so he goes into a shell. A couple more hail mary chucks to Romeo and we may start wondering if Love is ignoring the play call like his predecessor. Not the best day for Jordan, but he didn't lose us the ball game. He should be able to trust his head coach to see him through defensive adjustments. But we do what we do.

I think it's more likely than not the defensive locker room is as confused and uncertain as Barry is.
They have been for at least 2 years now.

Having somebody (anybody!) else taking over at DC for these last 2 games isn't going to make much difference at this point. Except for having LBs no longer covering WRs, rushing the pass with 3 against 5 (or more), and cottony-soft zone defenses that allow the worst QBs in the league to carve up the secondary.
