More fun memories of training camp from LeRoy Butler, via his Twitter feed:

"After about a week of not seeing our wives and girlfriends, we talk to students about ways to sneak out, I mean dress in all black gear lol"

"Can't give you any names but one fool broke curfew to go to Wendy's. I was like, Dude, that's dumb to leave for that, oh bring me a large frosty."

"If you lose your playbook it's a $10,000 fine, so I would obtain a key, and take every rookie's book and hide it in Robert Brooks' room."

"Now, one rookie did sell his playbook to a Vikings player. After about 30 minutes, he returned it, because he couldn't read it."

Pete Prisco came out with his Top 100 this week and listed Patrick Peterson ahead of Sherman. Of course, Prisco did NOT have Shields in the top 100 but had these CB's at numbers:

8.  Patrick Peterson

11.  Richard Sherman

28.  Darrelle Revis

33.  Joe Haden

84.  Aqib Talib

93.  Desmond Trufant

96.  Brent Grimes

98.  Vontae Davis

Brent Grimes better than Shields?  Heck, I'm not sure he's better than the often criticized Tramon Williams

The only two "elite" corners on that list are Peterson and Sherman.  That's it.  After that it's totally debatable.

Our top 3 corners (Shields, Tramon, Hayward) might be the best in football.  Throw Hyde in there and I am not sure another team can match the talent collectively at CB.

Labeling yourself or a player as "the best at a position" with no mention of the scheme or the talent around him is stupid. It wasn't long ago that Charles Tillman was one of the top CBs in the NFL, but he played in an exclusively zone scheme so how do you compare him and Richard Sherman who plays in the opposite kind of coverage? That's apples and oranges. If you traded Tillman for Sherman and put them in the opposite scheme, I bet neither would be nearly as effective. They're both good players, but their effectiveness is scheme specific. Sam Shields is the same way, he seems to struggle with zone coverage. Really Joe Haden is only CB on that list who has excelled in multiple schemes and responsibilities.

They both dislike Aaron Rodgers.

The both Know people that used to be Packers.

They could tweet about each other to the end of time.

They both have a vague connection to Minny.

I'm no matchmaker, but Courtney Finley's soul mate is Greg Jennings sister. Or Blake Baratz. Or Brett Favre. .... maybe the 4 of them should have some coffee and see what happens.
