It is in fact mathematically possible.

With 5 games left trailing the Eagles by 4 games? It most certainly is. Plausible? Hell no!

On the Owens/Mahomes hit if the ref had said unnecessary  roughness before the play was over I could almost buy that.  But to say unnecessary  roughness after the play was over was just rong.  The play was not even close to over when Owens hit Mahomes.

Officials in the 4th. Lots of bad calls both ways.
Injury to Watson. Hope he's back in time for the playoffs. Playoffs?!?!
Defense again doing just enough to keep Barry on board in 2024.

Mahomes is one of those quarterbacks who will tightrope the sideline to get as many yards as possible because he uses the rules about hitting quarterbacks.

He knows if he gets hit, even legally like Owens did last night, will usually result in a flag. It's kinda like the QBs who fake like they're going to slide to get the defender to let up only to juke and keep going.

It's smart, but the league has to look at QBs as runners once they're past the LOS. It's ridiculous.

--- I thought I would get to watch this game because it was on network tv, but turns out that network is in a contract dispute with Directv so no broadcast at all.  And the pirated stream was sporadic.  Bastards.

That's one of the reasons I ditched DirecTV.  That and they're 100% higher in cost than YouTubeTV, and YTTV has Sunday Ticket now.

Was it my imagination or did Love change significantly more plays at the LOS than in any previous games? Could be a big factor in the offensive turnaround since MLF wasn't allowing him to do much of that earlier in the season.

What's more, on at least one occasion, Love started changing the play, or killing the original play call, and nearly every Packer on the LOS was making sure everyone else knew what was going down. They were dialed in at the end of that game last night.

These last two games have been an early xmas.

In all fairness, the Chefs have problems.  They're certainly not playing their best ball and their WR room looks worse than GB's.  That's the life of a perennial contender in the NFL.  Low draft spot, high salary cap.  But nobody in the AFC really looks ready to board the ship.

That said, even with all the injuries, including injuries to top players, this team fresh off the boat has a head of steam.  And their HC/QB are leading the charge.  You can only beat who they put in front of you and that list is looking ripe.

The NFC is looking pretty strong at the top between SF, PHI and DAL.  I don't think GB is in their weight class yet.  But to get into the playoffs and give some team a good scare would be invaluable for this bunch of underclassmen.

Just get to the dance and then it's any given Sunday.

Besides Rasul, has anyone really noticed Jaire's absence for the majority of the season and especially during the recent winning streak?

Nope.  Seems like the secondary has gotten better, actually.  I don't recall what contract we have him signed to, but that's a lot of dough we could use back.

The Packers just beat the defending Super Bowl champs and not many of us (especially me) never would have bet on them winning this game.

Collinsworth lost a ton of money on it.  You could see it all over his crying face.

Honestly, I wish he wouldn't even address it. Now what? Next game Packers get more bad calls against them at critical moments? Probably....

Follow Mahomes lead...."They let the guys play at crunch time....I'm all about it" and leave it at that.

Campbell just needs to focus on playing better....he was awful last night vs. the run & pass.

I loved the aggressiveness and the edge the offense and defense played with for a change.  Although, FFS, Barry, why rush three on third and 18?  Blitz so that the routes don't have time to be run and Mahomes has to throw it short or away.  Please, do this at least one of these games.  Rushing three is not getting it done, and you want to choke him for not realising it.

Losing Watson is a big negative, our offense is definitely better when he's playing.  It's so frustrating to have such a talent and have that talent be unavailable much of the time.  Hope he gets better soon.

For 2024, if we can draft a couple o-linemen and a stud running back in the first three rounds, I think we're good.

I really don't know all the minutia of the rules but does the fact Nixon's foot was touching the sideline when he made contact have anything to do with it?  Does this make him out of bounds and therefore not allowed to make contact whether the player he hits is in or out?  It looked like his foot hit the paint at the moment he hit Mahomes.

Andy Herman made a joke last week about the script for WK13 and alluded to the fact something very unexpected was going to happen, i think regarding the GB game.

Bukowski picked the Packers too.

And even if Mahomes had been throwing to Kelce, there, the ball went away  from Kelce, to the right side of the scrum. Push in the back withstanding, Kelce's momentum was away from the ball. They needed Dick Rod there.

I had forgotten about the play where they stopped the clock when MVS's forward progress was stopped in bounds!  My son and I were yelling at the TV that MVS was inbounds when he was stopped. He even went backwards, up the field , a bit. The clock should have kept running, there.
