Great play by Hawk. He almost got a hand on Ross. Almost.
Anyone who thinks Hawk is a starting caliber ILB in the NFL, watch that last play a few times. That was Jeremy Ross, a guy we cut. Just awful.

Good coverage? Are you kidding me? Hawk had zero chance to make a play there. his head was never turned around. In what world is it good coverage when the defender does not even attempt to locate the ball?
Sorry, Hawk is terrible and it's in full display today. If you don't have another ILB,, then play a 3-3-5 defense. Hawk has been atrocious so far.
