Contrary to some game thread posts, #63 does not suck ass.  Great game without a lot of help today.

He wasn't facing Sweat every down, either. He's a Marshall Newhouse type: An okay player who can start and be okay but you'd prefer to have someone better and are looking for the opportunity to replace.

+ All those idiot Bears fans who kept barking all preseason that Fields was a shoe-in for league MVP can cry themselves to sleep tonight knowing their QB still sucks and they're last in the division AGAIN.

+ All the dumbasses who said we were in a "rebuilding year" (yeah I'm looking at you Bakh) can eat crow and choke on it.

+ PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!  LFG!!!

+ Packers get the Sunday afternoon slot, which is probably perfect. Saturday was going to be tough as I have plans already.

Thank god.  The Saturday late game is ONLY streaming on Peacock+, it won't be televised at all (except locally).  Glad we don't have to deal with that BS.  I think the NFL is going to have their worst ratings ever for whoever ends up in that slot and regret it.

For anyone that has Cox, Xfinity etc cable....you can get access to Peacock for free using your account. Get it setup ahead of time.

Neither was Tom.  But, OK.

That 33 yarder was a crossing route and Quay was late picking up Moore. Not on Jaire at all.

I was wondering why Joe Blow  had Quay covering Moore. Talk about a mismatch.  It's like having Preston Smith covering a WR.

Problem is nobody is going to do this.  A lot of casual fans turn in for the playoffs and aren't going to know about any of this.  Ratings are gonna be horrible.

We were playing zone on that play. They have no control who will come into Walker's area. The problem was that Quay got caught watching Fields and was late picking up Moore who flashed in front of him.

As they should be. Helping the NFL make this work is only asking for more exclusivity. People should skip watching en masse.

Pretty sure "fake tough" is when you run your mouth and don't back it up.

Also "No one’s over there. No respect. They have no stars over there." is perhaps the biggest self-own I've heard in a while.

Brisker sounds like a complete idot.  He and that secondary with their stupid eagle wings flapping despite getting torched by all those “nothing specials” and guess what? You’ll get several more years of these nothings beating your stupid asses again and again.

Rodgers was right.  This ain’t no rivalry.

I'm concerned on the kick offs and FG's....Carlson can't kick the ball out of the EZ on Kickoffs allowing a return it seems most of the time. In FG's he was 4-8 from the 40-49 and 3-5 from 50+.  He was 34-39 on Extra points. Other than that he was solid. Should they be looking for someone else next year?

If Quay's main concern was Fields running there is no way he is going to catch up to Moore who had a running start.  Poor defensive plan.

Like a basketball player in a zone defense, he has to see both the man with the ball and an offensive player coming into his area. He "stared at the ball". I am no Barry fan, but you have to watch other games. EVERY team in the league when playing zone will have their ILBer in that position....where else would you put him? Same tired BS about "Preston in coverage". It is a standard tactic that you see all the time, you overload one side and then drop the edge rusher into coverage, thus leaving the OT with no one to block and a rusher on the other side coming free. Take your eye off the ball and you can see a lot more of what is really going on.

Positives:

Any win over the Bores no matter what the score is and what the stakes is always awesome

Love.  My god is he cool in the pocket seeing his growth in a few short months is just crazy to see

Jones is game changer and the impact he has on this offense is incredible

This young team makes the playoffs is crazy to me.  It wasn't all that long ago when these young receivers didn't seem to know what routes to run.

Negatives:

The kicker has to get his act together and get the yips out of his head

Watson missing another game.  Can you imagine this offense if he is ever on the field?  I sure hope they can figure out his hammy issues this offseason I do feel bad for the guy.

The media is going to be talking about how great Dallas is all week long.

You all got things pretty well summarized and then some. Couple of thoughts.....

+ Almost a mistake free game from the penalty aspect of things. I counted one penalty which was the off-sides by Gary. That's discipline.

+ The last offensive drive for GB. Started inside the 10 and first play lost yardage to put Love and O in a huge hole. To not only get out of that, and to eventually run out the clock was remarkable. Talk about a "dagger".

I have Cox, yes Peacock is readily available but the game is in a paid subscription tier.

I said as much in the game thread.  Mostly mistake free game from such a young team in a high pressure game says really good things about them, and also about the coaches.

We scorched the coaches for all the mental errors and penalties during the losing streak, deserved or not.  We should give them credit for where the team is now.

+++ Jordan Love proving he is a keeper to anyone who watched him play, all season long, that knows anything about football! Any Love doubters are just jealous of how cool he is under pressure. Aaron Jones. The guy can play and is a difference maker when he is on the field. Our OL allowed only 1 sack of Love, if I'm not mistaken. Our DL led the charge with 5 sacks! Our DBs played well and kept Moore in check, for the most part. Our WRs and TEs are studs. I pray for Doubs.  We beat last season's record and made it to the playoffs!!! WE BEAT THE BEARS, AGAIN!!! The penalty and that was called on Gary for being offsides. Disputable call since the Bears' OL guy was moving, as well. On to Dallas! GO PACK, GO!!!

----Injury to Doubs. Clock management at the end of the half. We could have put more points up had we had a little time left. We need to get out of bounds when we have no time outs left. We left a lot of points on the field. I hold my breath every time Carlson has to kick a FG or a PAT. I also want to see Carlson kick the ball through the end zone on kick offs. The NFL for messing with TV coverage, all season long and into the playoffs. Are they trying to lose viewers? It would appear that they are doing just that.
