Wonder if he got the Rona. That's what had Cobb out the middle of last week.

Do any of you guys play fantasy football on Yahoo? I do and I’m not happy to see that apparently Allen Lazard is playing for the Patriots this weekend! Shouldn’t there be a rule that you can’t play against your own team???

Just saw an interesting stat. We 31rst in passing stats for "average yards of target" at 5.6. That is two yards lower than last season. Furthermore, 26% of our completions have been behind the line of scrimmage, compared to 16% last season. Some of this obviously is a result of trying to get Jones & Dillion with the ball with some room to run, however as we saw at TB, to defend this, teams will start playing man coverage. Now, very few teams will have LBers who can cover like TB has, but I really think we have to at least have the threat of throwing it downfield. AR talked about Belichick taking away what you do best, so I would think the Pats will try to emulate what TB did in the second half? Watson could be key in this game.

Mark Murphy announces new way to access Packers’ radio broadcasts:

I'm pleased to let you know, though, that you can now listen to our radio broadcasts on a desktop or laptop computer through our website – packers.com. The broadcast will start with the pregame show two hours prior to kickoff, with 3:25 games actually starting at 1 p.m., including this Sunday's game vs. the Patriots. Go to packers.com/radio for a link to the broadcast each gameday when the broadcast window opens. Again, this is for only desktop or laptop computers as mobile devices are not able to be used for this feature, per league policy, if you are outside the team's home market. If you are in a team's home market, however, you may use a mobile device to access a stream of the radio broadcast.

From Bill Huber:

The Green Bay Packers will elevate cornerback Kiondre Thomas from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, a source told Packer Central, an obvious move with starter Jaire Alexander questionable with a groin injury.

Thomas spent most of training camp running with the No. 3 defense behind the second-team trio of Keisean Nixon, Shemar Jean-Charles and Rico Gafford. He played a lot in the preseason and was tremendous, though. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed 1-of-7 passing for 8 yards. His 59.0 snaps per reception ranked No. 1 among all corners in the preseason (minimum 30 coverage snaps). He also showed a taste for run defense.

If this isn't a convincing win vs Brian "Hoyer than thou" I'll be disappointed. This is a day to flex our muscles at home vs a bad and injured team.

Hope you can sleep through your disappointment.
