Buffalo's pass rush will be a challenge

Agreed. Pack are a differnet team on the road and Buffalo's Defense doesn't eff around. Their DL is one of the best in the league. They lead NFL in sacks and can get pressure by just rushing 4 and then dropping 7 in coverage. The only positive is that the BIlls offense is pretty damn lackluster

I think that's the toughest game left on the schedule.

Never expected the defense to play that well. Key stops when needed and holding the Pats to 21 is about all you can ask for.

Thought Barrington did some good things.

Entire offense. Excellent OL play and everyone stepped up. Not perfect, but have to credit the Pat red zone defense.

-

Drop by Adams and poor red zone production. Overall not much to complain about with a solid effort in beating the best team in the AFC.

It is players as well; and the front office and the coaching.  My contention is Dom was set to keep going with the Highwaymen down the middle, lovingly approved by Moss.  Capers is what he is at this point.  Even guys like Wolf said the game passes you by.  I think Capers is a great consultant, the defensive Philbin.  I just don't see him as a complete coach.  My opinion doesn't mean squat in the scheme of things and I'll gladly admit I put more onus on Capers originally but that's how I feel.

BTW, does anyone think that Raji playing single gap, attacking defense at NT would've had a really nice year and made this defense more well rounded?  I do.

I can see Philadelphia or Seattle (not both since they play next Sunday) still having a shot at the #1 seed in week 17.  A 12-4 Seattle would have the tiebreaker against the Packers.

With the way Raji was looking at NT back in preseason and training camp, they probably would be in the top 5 in points allowed right now with him. With all that said, the defense has only really had two bad performances this season (Seattle and New Orleans). That first half against the Jets can probably also be thrown in there.

Time and time again it seems the Packers have played tough against the top teams in the NFL and come up just short. Not this time. Excellent win vs. the best team they'll play all season

Instead of slamming my iPhone onto the hardwood flooring like a 5 year old, I decided to take a nice long walk after the Pats made it 21-23 in the 4th quarter. Personal victory.

Good

O-Line outstanding

Rodgers may finally get his "due" now that he outplayed/beat Brady

Rodgers to Rodger for perfect TD

Nelson battling to get the TD

Starks catch.

Defense was up to the task today...Hats off to Capers

Crosby earned his $$

Lacy

Adams big day

Matthews and Peppers had some big plays to disrupt passes

Bad

High snap caused Crosby to hurry and he pulled it...probably still should have made it

Adams was thinking about his "LL" in front of a national audience before his closed his grip on the ball

Williams was sloppy on the first TD

Ugly

Having to watch 10 commercials before CBS tuned into the game...missed the first 3 minutes

Refs were horrible

Great, Great game and win...but it was anti-climatic to watch a two-minute kneel-down to seal the win.  I wanted the Packers to pound Lacy thru the line and make the Patriots feel the loss.

@Packman

Disagree considering what it took to get the whole of the defense playing at a respectable level early on.  The rotation of Raji and allowing him to actually use his pass rush ability could've helped to staunch some of the run yards.  I'm not saying he would've bottled up the middle but I think he would've balanced out the interior more.

Yep Brady is at his best on his spot and no pressure up the middle.   JOnes and Daniels had some good bull rushes up the middle.   Brady was off and rushed on several throws.

It was a helluva ride under Bert Fart but Gdamn Rodgers is the best QB I have ever seen.

Hard to argue the point on Rodgers. He's the best I've ever watched. Accurate. Accurate on the move. No issues picking up yards with his legs. Unreal at reading defenses pre and post snap. Protects the football like no one else in the history of the NFL but rolls up yards and TDs and average yard per pass better than anyone ever at the same time.

Good thing he fell into our lap.

  • Defense played a helluva game.  Won a game against a great QB without forcing turnovers, something I didn't think they could do.  Kudos to that side of the ball.
  • Rodgers is just unfrigginreal.  He makes the right calls, he puts the ball in the right spots, doesn't make stupid decisions.  He missed a couple passes today - that go to Cobb would have been huge, but he is simply amazing.  That last throw to Cobb - man.
  • Adams played best game as a pro.  Yeah, he dropped that slant which was inexcusable, but he was the man today.
  • Jordy and Cobb.  Best 1-2 punch in the NFL.  Period.  Jordy's TD was classic Jordy.  Cobb's catch to seal it was amazing.
  • Maybe the best part?  Jonathon Football will take over as starter in Cleveland, so ESPN forgets about the Packers 20 min after the game ended.  Perfect.  Take all the time in the world to talk up that dip****.

  • None.
  • Well, AJ Hawk still sucks.

This regular season is now feeling better than 15-1.    We have a D that is stepping up.

And **** me for saying this but we are not getting legged humped with injuries...non relaxing dip****s can suck it.

We are the masters of our domain at Lambeau.    Love the idea of potentially all NFC roads having to lead up  hwy 41 from Appleton.

Tip o' the hat to Chilijohn on calling the short game as well.  The screens came in the form o WR screens and Cobb out of the backfield.  That route out of the backfield down the sideline was just silly.

Maybe one of the most impressive plays of his i've seen. The strongest of pump fakes*, only to immediately throw it 40 yards downfield without hardly stepping into it.

What we're seeing from this guy is beyond remarkable.

*It was so convincing, I wonder if he was going to throw it to his right, but changed course at the last moment?

Fantastic point.

Hey, it is football, not ring around the posie.

Oy.

Joe Pisarcik thinks you're stoooopid.

What if it the Packers were down by 5 pts with 2:00 left?   I think it is a waste of two minutes of continuing great competitive football.  'nuff said.  Great win by Packers either way.
