@ByRyanWood: New #Packers RB coach Ben Sirmans said he's already spoken with Eddie Lacy. Initial impressions? "You can tell he's very hungry this year."

@ByRyanWood: Sirmans said Lacy was his top-rated RB in the 2013 draft class. Excited to coach him. "He’s a guy that’s very, very capable and talented."

@ByRyanWood: Simans said he hasn't spoken with James Starks, but he's operating as if Starks will return. He has reached out to John Crockett.

@ByRyanWood: From talking with Sirmans and #Packers coach Mike McCarthy today, sounds like Eddie Lacy is taking offseason seriously. Which he must do.

@ByRyanWood: Sirmans on Eddie Lacy: "A big guy with incredible feet. I think he’s a guy who definitely has some staying power in this league for sure."

Anyone can get in shape for a short period of time....I am more concerned with sustained results.

2011 Pablo Sandoval is the perfect example...came into the season 45lbs lighter, by the 2012 season he was the same fat fukk he always was, and now that he's the Red Sox problem he's continued to balloon.

I hope the P90X stuff has changed Eddie's lifestyle...if so, he should have a nice rest of his career.

Good points boys. It's one thing to lose weight. Entirely different in keeping it off. I heard that in addition to working him out, he's also being taught nutrition and how to eat. His Mom suggested he hire a cook 2 seasons ago, and he didn't want to (he didn't like to cook back then). Hopefully, he'll change his mind.

If he doesn't cook, fine. But then find someone who can.

Pablo was the MVP of the World Series in 2012. 2014 he started going downhill but still played decent in the playoffs batting .400 in the NLCS & .429 in the WS

Get to Boston & he was terrible.

We need P90X Eddie for 5 more years

The downside to a skinny Eddie is we won't be able to make fat jokes about him any more.  I know that will seriously diminish the quality of my own life as well as many others.  We'll probably have to start making comedy routines about Ovaltine or something like that instead.

That all said... looking forward to seeing Eddie getting back to the beast he once was.  He was a significant reason the Pack was on the doorstep to a Super Bowl in 2014, it would be nice to have that version of Eddie return.

I hope Ya'll are happy...we have our Sprolesque  3rd down scat back now.

“I’m the guy in the photo with Eddie,” Engen wrote. “I’m 5-9, 185 pounds and he is muchthinner than me.”
