AR played very poorly. Missed too many throws and the days of "pinpoint accuracy" are a distant memory.

I get that the play calling is about as original as Napster under MM and he's playing with some young WR's but the body language and attitude is getting f'ing old.

He's getting paid stupid amounts of money to play like sh** too often and when the game is on the line. Again, we saw more sandlot football throwing across his body and had another delay of game. Simply unacceptable.

Giannis looks really good and is under contract for 3 more years and the Bucks finally have a coach who gets it.

The Brewers have the best player in the game under contract for 4 more years.

The Badgers and Packers have shit the bed this year, but I'll take deep Bucks and Brewers playoff runs as a Wisconsin sports fan and call it a good year.

The Brewers signed Mike Trout?

It’s like he’s looking to find his new edge or motivation. Used to be we heard all about Favre and the chip in his shoulder and all his catchphrases, that’s all gone. Maybe he is trying to get a new coach in here, I’m skeptical of that, but the guy can’t seem to get his shit together and take what he’s being given. I’m sick of the rookie WR excuse, lots of QBs have rookie or inexperienced WRs. Find a way to make it work, it’s why he makes $34 M.

Like what Pettine has done considering what he's got to work with (and little help from the offense).

Physically, AR still looks able, but mentally, he looks like a guy that doesn't believe in anything around him and he's letting it affect his own play.  I wouldn't say he played "very poorly", but he definitely did not play great.

They also have good coaching.

Less than 200 yards passing is pretty poor for Rodgers.

When is it okay say Rodgers played poorly?  He's done nothing in the second half of 2 games except take sacks and not throw an interception.  Good lord Rodgers has played poorly.  I don't know why, but my eyes don't lie.

+ Another week closer to the end... of the season, MM's time, etc. Can't come soon enough.

+ Jones. Alexander. Clark. ESB. Adams as always.

-- It didn't look like either team really wanted to go out and grab this game. It was almost... dare I say, boring? No fire, no guts, no drive.

-- Rodgers. He hates almost everything right now. He hates his receivers, except Adams. He hates the plays. He hates MM. And it shows. He has suffered a meltdown of leadership and it isn't pretty. He has to get his act together.

I guess it was too much to ask for a run at the SB in GB's 100th year...

It's almost like, even with the best QB in the game, you actually need to coach all the time instead of just sitting on your fat ass doing the same shit over and over, because hey in 2010 you won it all?

GBFanForLife posted:

Rodgers is Favre part 2. He is a waste of 30 million and the team is now ****ed with his salary. McCarthy should be fired tomorrow. The coaching in this game was beyond inept and he allowed Tramon Williams on the team.

We better hope there is some real AR in Rodgers come 2019, 2020, or this will get old real quick. From GOAT to goat.

This is why I wanted to draft a QB this last draft. Paying one player that much just screws the payroll. Plus the recent injury history he has had.

Wonder if he hates his paycheck? He could send it my way in that event.

Exactly! The Packers haven’t wasted the last two years of AR’s career. AR’s injuries and downright mediocre play have been just as much of a problem as anything else.

GBFanForLife posted:

He doesn't care whether they win or lose, his paycheck is the same. They are in salary cap hell until his contract is up.

Seriously, shut the hell up. Guy's been hurt, playing with a depleted offensive line, and receiving corp. He's not playing at his normal high level, but he's hardly terrible. And I don't buy that "he doesn't care if they win or lose". Pure stupid hyperbole on your part. I think he cares a hell of a lot about winning.

Pos..

Pettine's  MASH unit showed up to play, leaky but no quit in D.

Adams topped 1000 yds for 1st time.

Increased touches for 33.

Playoffs out of reach = MM's last year.

Neg...

Same old story...

Didn't turn opponents early struggles (penalties, missed FGs)  into points.

O success in 1st half all but abandoned in 3rd qtr.

MVS non-factor again.

O line shuffle didn't help an erratic AR/MM.

"Special" Teams receiving/coverage teams.

2nd "4th and 1" fail in 3rd qtr was beginning of the end.

2nd half vs MN: 3 pts, 2nd half vs Sea: 3 pts, O not finishing games.

+++

Jones got reps and looked decent

Dahvante having a good year in an otherwise nightmare season

Defense hung in there and competed

Another loss means MM era is getting closer to the end

Another loss improves our draft position

β€”β€”

Not sure I can recall a game where 3 starting OL exited the game with injuries

Rodgers body language is awful; He’s not having fun and is obviously frustrated

The Packers take the special out of special teams

3rd and 1 play

We lost to a very ordinary Vikings team
