Um, Blake Martinez is playing well? That's a positive.

Detroit lost?? that's good. and I'm sick, I'm sick, I'm sick.
Ted Thompson can have two martinis at lunch tomorrow
I give you credit for finding positives in this debacle.
Just when I thought guys were starting to get healthy again, then comes today where 4 starters go down and one of them happens to be irreplaceable. What the hell is going on with Bahktiari and Bulaga? It seems like we're lucky to ever see those guys make it through a game without something happening to them.
This was the worst day to be a Packers fan since the loss in the 2014 NFC Championship game to the Seahags.
Martellus Bennett & Ty Montgomery.
Which one is more overrated?

The Packers are likely looking at a top 12 2018 draft pick.
I thought Fackrell's facemask had an impact
My lawn looks great.
I hate EVERYTHING about the Minnesota Vikings.
Season looks lost on the outside and Iâm sure the whole NFC is silently celebrating. BUT get to the bye, two extra weeks of rest for Bak and Bulaga (not sure what Taylor status will be) and the full preparation that Hundley will have and the division can still be ours. Playoff op pony will be sh@tting kittens when AR12 returns for playoff run.
The defense really missed King and Burnett and their addition back should not be overlooked. Very very poor tackling today. HA HA really needs to start playing better.
Do you weed and feed Blair? How was your dandelion crop this year?

I'll go with Bennett. So far he's been in the Joe Johnson/Marquand Manual class of free agent signees. There's still time for him to turn it around but wow has he been a disappointment so far.
I thought I got injured watching today. Went into the tent out back. Only missed a series. Big plus.

Truth be told, in Floir-duh we have suck-ass St.Augustine grass.....it's basically crab-grass, but not as nice.
Tough to have perspective on a day like this but here it goes.
++++
Kenny Clark is developing into a really nice player. He and Daniels make a helluva combo on the DL.
I've ripped 50 and I still think he's a liability in coverage but he is thumping guys in the run game.
Hundley made some plays and throws. We can win with this guy.
We are still 4-2.

Injuries injuries injuries. What else can you say?
Monty did not have a good game but I can't imagine playing RB with busted ribs.
Officiating sucked.
Missed tackles and blown coverages on D.
Bennett. Memo to you. You can run your mouth and have a bunch of hot takes but how about catching the damn ball? He's been a complete bust of a signing.
Sick isn't the word. I was ready to trade 5 winning seasons just so the Packers could win the Owl in the Big Stapler this year. Things were setting up pretty good too. Vikes, Bears sucked. Loins chocking as always. Atlanta coming down to earth. Beating Dallas last week with a running game and bach-ups playing well. Class of the NFC. Now it all comes crashing down. Against this crappy team and crappier fans no less!

I threw something when he dropped that pass. Seconds later I realized that wasn't the worst of it.

Sad but possibly true. If we can get the offensive line back somewhat healthy, maybe they could stay in the playoff race, but not with that collection of street free agents we had to put out there today to protect Hundley. Got to get the tackles back healthy to give Hundley a fair shot at doing anything.
Honestly the NFC is wide open. If GB can hang in there and Rodgers does come back I would not count them out.
I'll go with Bennett. Like to see more of Kendricks. If Bennett can't get the job done, let's see if someone else can. Horrible day, but the Purple Pukes didn't crush us, even with our second units on the field. And if Monty holds onto that pass, who knows? Could have changed the entire game.
Questions will now be answered...
- Can MM coach a successful football team without AR?
- Can the team go .500 without the superstar QB?
- Can the team adjust and play strong D and ST to make up the difference?

CMIII has somehow found a way to stay healthy through this mess
Draft position dramatically improves
I can spend more time on my Green Mountain DB smoker grill
-
Dumdums may start clamoring for a Kaperdick signing
+ i suppose we will see if 7 has anything for realzees
+ we get to see what these guys are made of without 12
+ finished throwing up
- season is pretty much gone. it is clear 12 is the heartbeat of this team
- 23 if i have to watch him trailing someone for another game, i just can't
ps - are all these injuries from lack of conditioning? or what? unfreaking believable, can we hold somebody accountable for all these injuries, (besides the foozball gods)

I had this horrible feeling before the season started that the freaking Seahawks, the team I personally hate more than any other, would get back to the Super Bowl. After week one I was feeling a little bit more optimistic that maybe the Pack could get homefield where they have had success vs. the Hags. Those dreams are dashed after today though. The Hawks are now the favorite to come out of the NFC. Who knows, maybe the start getting some catastrophic injuries, but as of now, I think they'd be the favorite to come out of the NFC.

Still need a backup.
Saints coming to town, a 7th for Taysom Hill?
Seattle would be a logical choice. With Earl Thomas back they are playing really good D and Wilson will keep them in every game.

Without ARod scrambling around to create time, as a receiver Bennet will likely be reduced to catching those 2 yard outs and going down right away.
His biggest contributions from here on out are likely to be as the 6th offensive lineman.
Bob McGinn thinks they can go 11-5.

Injuries. Watching football for a long time and don't believe I've ever seen anything quite like this.
Secondary tackling was horrible.

Injury to AR will give MM a prime opportunity to demonstrate his coaching prowess.
Blake Martinez continues to impress.
The only interesting thing I can see coming out of today's debacle is what #7 can do now as a starter. We'll see what we have as backups.

Can you send the turf from your yard to the Vikings? Maybe there would be fewer injuries on that deathtrap of a field.
Didn't Woodson have a broken shoulder?? wonder if he'll talk to Arod.......did I say I'm sick, sick, sick yet??
This will be the season of my dis-count tent!
Biggest positive: Kenny Clark looks like a frickin stud out there. That play where he blew up the Tackle, fell down and crawled to make the TFL was outstanding.
Biggest non-injury negative: Haha is absolutely invisible. Heâs in a contract year and looks like the 3rd or 4th best Safety on our team. If he was blowing coverage, but stuffing the run I wouldnât be as ticked, but his tackling is awful and heâs not making any plays in coverage. At least Burnett, Brice, and Josh Jones are making plays in run support. Even Randall is coming up with something redeeming amid his mediocrity.
No positives, none. Plenty of negatives.
Blocking and tackling win football games...this team as currently constructed (counting injuries) is mediocre at both. Until those facets of the team are fixed there truly is not much hope. #12 makes up for missed blocks and tackles, we shall see if Hundley can.
Agree about Ha Ha GD. I've really been disappointed with his play this year. The past couple of years he seemed to be getting better and taking steps forward but this year he's gone completely backwards for some reason. As far as I know he's healthy so I don't understand what the problem is.
I also agree that Kenny Clark is a frickin' stud. I wasn't completely enamored with him being drafted when he was but my reservations were wrong and he's developing into a really good player. Especially considering how young he still is.
We are tied for first place and host the Vikes later this year.
I don't see either the Vikes or Lions running away with anything.
Team needs to focus on winning the division.
