It don't think it matters much if he knows where he's going with the ball and he's accurate.  Lot's of guys with zip wait too long and fire the ball for picks.  If Flynn can get ahead of the play with his awareness it makes up for it.

AR back or not, winning the Nord or not, how can anyone have any faith in this D?  Both sides of the ball have too many holes to go up against SF, SEA, NO or even CAR.  Injuries aren't an excuse, but they are a fact.  You can't stack a roster with 3rd stringers that can beat other team's 1st and 2nd string.  And you're not going to find a DC that can do any better with the walking dead we currently have on D.  Again, due to injuries.

Yep. I'll take the noodle arm over the rocket arm considering the offense has looked lethargic beyond belief over the past few weeks until Flynn came in.

Can we PLEASE put someone better than Newhouse at RT?!?!? My God, he's no better than I would be out there. There has to be SOMEBODY. Is Sherrod ok to play? or WTF?

Play Calling on offense AND defense is abysmal. Also....

Do we have ANY player that can tackle?

I'm done with this defense. Changes need to be made but I'm glad I'm not the one that has to make the decisions. My knee-jerk reactions would probably be bad for the organization.

The Vikings are a VERY bad football team. Does Rodgers really make THAT much of a difference?

Even if you are the janitor, how dare you complain.

You're right about Brockington.  Many may forget or never have seen him, but Brockington carried bodies too.  In '71-'72 he was a beast:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB3mp7-EYW0

Still holds the Packers rookie rushing record after 42 seasons I believe.

+ Lacy

Flynn mop up was pretty good

didn't lose

everyone else lost

- Tackling was awful - 'jukes' were killing me, just tackle the f'ing guy jeebus

Dfense

Playcalling on both sides has some left to be desired

that being said, Flynn gave quite a spark in the 2nd half, don't want to rush Rodgers back, would like to see what Matty Ice can do on Thursday, and bring the Defense (without their purses) I hope Lacy's ribs aren't too bad, he was in full beast mode today 000 ('shaking head' imagine the heartburn with him and Rodgers on full blast) with our WR's that's just insane.

I noticed that also. It looked like he was jumping out of his stance just before the ball was snapped several times. I hope Mike noticed it too, and makes a change at RT if it's possible.

TBH, whether Mike noticed it or not, I hope he makes a change at RT.  Anyone know how serious Barclay's injury is?

Plus

E*Train Lacy...he doesn't look flashy, dashy or slashy,  But he is a "Train".

Quarless's one-handed catch out of bounds in the Viking bench

Flynn did well

Boykin catch

Refs held flags

Minus

Capers "D" scheme or lack thereof

Gerhardt running????  How many 10+ yard carries.  Really?

MM not calling more play-action for Tolzien; No screens again

Jimmy Johnson said the Packers "were playing with scared money" - meaning MM had to open it up more.

- McCarthy... I know some of its hindsight, but in the end, hes just not making the right calls. Flynn shoulda been in earlier, its obvious. the 2 pt conversion, though looked like the right call at the time, ended up being the wrong move that woulda given us the win.

The playcallign on back to back first and goals at the end of the game and to start overtime. wow. all you need is a couple yards either time and you win the game. that low percentage fade on 3rd down. you had to score 6 there.

- the OL was absolutely brutal. Flynn had no time whatsoever.

-Tolzien. thanks kid for the effort but youre not there yet. keep working and good luck in your future endeavors.

- you had to beat Minnesota at home. Tampa and the Rams give you early Xmas gifts and you refuse.

- Dom fking Capers. this is the worst offender of the bunch. he absolutely has to go.

you have the hapless vikings on a frigid lambeau field and you let Ponder conduct 6 long scoring drives. In excusable and should be fired. we knew what they were gonna do and still couldnt stop toby f'ing Gerhart from gashing us.

- House was horrible today. Hawk wasnt much better.. Lbs have to step up in this D

+ Lacy,Boykin Flynn. FLynn looked very good for a backup.

Missed a big opportunity today. coulda been in first place, but now playoffs for this team start thursday

I don't disagree with going for 2 early in the fourth quarter.  You can't expect to have 3 scoring drives in the fourth quarter when you've only put 1 together through the first 3 quarters.  Even with Rodgers, how many quarters this season have the Packers scored over 16 points?  I'd have to guess not many.  With how poor the offense was playing today with backup QB, you gotta play for one more score.  Year it didn't work out but that's just hindsight.

Everything else, I agree.  MM and Dom have let this team fall apart in Rodgers absence (of course, no other players have really stepped up either).  When Brady went down a few years ago, Belichick made Cassel look like a competent QB and led that team to an 11-5 record.  If Peyton goes down for a month, I really believe the Broncos would pull out a few wins.  MM and the coaching staff just seemed to let the team fold.  Other than Lacy, no one has stepped up.  That's a problem.

I was thinking along these lines an hour or so ago. If the HC is worth his salt he rallies the team around themselves. MM has not. Not inserting Flynn at halftime last week vs. the Giants shows arrogance. Not starting Flynn this week shows stupidity as well. MM is an Aaron Rodgers made man.
