I got the Steelers (hometown) after that it's one of those RoughRider teams up Nort. What say you?

Browns.
Can we trade him now?
Is this a trick question?
Houston. This is on the players.
I would have guessed Detroit.
Nauseat Regional
Seattle
Browns
Manchester City.
My initial thought was teams won't be lining up to throw offers at MM if her were fired by the Packers. He might be out of meaningful work for a year or so; he might even get an offer to be a talking head on a network or pre-game show.
He would likely then resurface as an OC somewhere, and perhaps parlay that into another HC gig, but I seriously can't see another team being anxious to hire him given his staff management 'issues'.
But to think of the potential upheaval across the league...Bellicheat/Brady may be done in NE, Tomlin/Rapistburger may be done in Pitt, Payton/Brees in NO, Lewis in Cincy, maybe the Chargers, and the perpetual needs of the Jets, Buffalo, and Cleveland....hell, who knows what might happen?
Unlike Sherman, Ted, Dom, Slocum and others who have lost their jobs in Green Bay I truly believe there is a franchise or two that would take a crack at MM.
I also think he could bring a crappy team to .500 or so.
However, without a hall of famer at QB, .500 is about MM's ceiling.
More importantly, who would we replace MM with?
Who would we replace him with?
Consider that we plucked MM from SF, who if memory serves, was the OC of the worst offense in the NFL at the time.
Im certain there are plenty of options.
Yeah, tons of successful HC applicants ready to come in and simply steer the unbelievably talented Rodgers to six more rings. Because it's easy and Rodgers!
All you guys that dismiss McCarthy's career can skip this as it won't help your narrative. For anybody else, good read. Pretty old, but not much has changed in the last 6 years.
Ask Rich Gannon about Mike McCarthy.

Hey! Lazy question! Not as lazy as "MM must go", but pretty ****ing lazy!

Glad to see someone with balls. I have no idea how this will play out, but come on. A little loyalty please.
Get someone from the booth. Look how well Chucky is doing!
I was firmly in the get rid of Dom and TT camp and am ambivalent as to Mikes future with the team. He is a good coach, not great, good. But this team needs a major talent up grade at O line, LB, Db and the wide recievers seem if not slow lacking quickness. A lot to fix but IMO any new coach would need these upgrades too before he had a team playing in February.
There's no new coach that is going to get the Packers another SB ring while Rodgers is on the team. It's not going to happen. Save this and bring it out in 5 years and prove me to be the idiot most believe me to be.
But it's not going to happen.
I donât understand...do I get 3 minutes to name the team? If so, I didnât make the time limit...I had to wait for my internet to give me a list of teams.
If MM got fired and thereâs a vacancy in seattle then John schneider would hire McCarthy before he reached his car post-firing. Theyâre old buddies.
I have buddies that I would not hire to run my business.
Probably any bottom dweller who had just fired their own coach. Almost all owners prefer names of guys who they have heard of before.

Bull****.

Bull****.
My point being, friendship is not the only criteria in hiring.
I'm not saying you don't have a business.
I'm saying you don't have any friends.

I think you have some good posts. This is not one of them. You will be proved wrong.

Hateful.
Thank you for the kind lie. Kindly save the post and present it when the payment comes due.
I'll gladly eat crow and whatever other **** you bastards decide to serve up. I don't really care whether it's McCarthy and Rodgers, or Matthew Symmes and Rodgers, or Philbin and Boyle. Let's go!
It just seems to me that mm's coaching stock, hit rock bottom after last years crap show. I think any team would think long and hard before they hired mm
The Eagles were an anomaly. Hostetler and Foles don't happen very often. Any other team loses their starting QB, they ain't doin' ****. Unless the starter isn't that good anyway.
But the QB room is right where it needs to be.
A lot of Pittsburgh macho in that infamous statement
Jesus ****. For the last time. He's not going to stand up there and say, "Well, Ted has ****ed us with a ****show of talent, so I'm calling my boss out right now in front of God and everybody. He needs to do better than he's been doing. Until then, I can't promise you ****ers a goddamn thing."
Well, I guess he could have.
MM has been the coach since 2006. Many fans have reached a point where they want to see a change. Last season without AR opened a lot of eyes for some.
I'm curious Brak, what do you need to see happen to believe the same?
I tell you what: When he went after the ref today, and looked like he was going to hit the ****er? His stock went up in my book.
Bullcrap calls are changing outcomes. Today, even if it didnât change the outcome, it changed the momentum. Iâm done with civility.
Next time take the fine Mike.
Another Super Bowl or two. It can happen.
I just don't think getting divorced and remarried at this point is going to make anything better.
Also should point out that I'm really unsuccessful at most things in life, and that having the string of success we've had going back to 1992 is not anything I take lightly. I'm grateful for it. I think that MM gives us the best chance to at least stay in the hunt vs. starting fresh with a new HC.
As always, keep in mind that I'm an idiot.

Like Sherman confronting Warren Sapp.
