Time to get going.

Watching a game on Apple TV is lame. So is Burnes when he walks 2 guys and they both score. Down 3-2.
Didn't we have a left handed bat for Anderson?
Toro is a switch. Anderson actually hits RH pitching better than LH, just not when we needed it.
We should have won this game by now. At one point the Reds had 3 runs on one hit. A couple walks really hurt Burnes. In the 10th Tellez needed to move that runner over to 3rd base so he scores on Miller's single.
2 huge runs in the 11th. One was going to score regardless but the 2nd one was the Reds failure of turning a double play.
That pitcher apparently didn't realize Turang was running. He should have thrown home. The new kid is the star of the game so far.
The Brewers look like a AAA lineup today. SS, 1B, RF, P. I'm curious why Turang isn't playing today with a RH pitcher for the Reds.
Nashwaukee.
Ashcroft throwing thigh-high meat balls
nice 3 spot for the Brewers in the 2nd
Blake Perkins just brought up from Triple A and gets his first home run being it a grand slam !
Who are these guys?
9 stolen bases for the Reds in this game. I think 6 last night.
Jake Cousins has no business in the big leagues.
Whew.
Williams money.
Thus would have been a painful one to choke..but we didnāt.
Sweā¦.Win tomorrow!
Stacking ugly wins.
Devin pitches good
Devin pitched under a lot more stress than he should have and threw 26 pitches. It's hard to believe when the score is 9-1 that the Reds would come within a base hit from tying it.

Hubris much?
Didn't want to start a new thread so I'll put this here since it is recent news. Article doesn't even mention George Scott played for Milwaukee.
The @Brewers are now 30-0 when leading (25-0) or tied (5-0) after 8 innings.

Last night's game was tied at 3-3 after eight. #ThisIsMyCrew
June 4, 1979: Milwaukee @Brewers Mike Caldwell became the one and only Brewer to pitch a complete-game shutout without striking out or walking any batters. Caldwell beat the Chicago White Sox 6-0. Just winning.
One more tomorrow.
Great pitching.
At least the Monasterio injury was not serious. Just dizzy after being hit in the face by a runner getting back to 2nd base. He sure has done a great job. All position players on the 40 man roster are either active or on the IL. Adames is due back Thursday as is Luis Urias. Willy had a double, homer and a BB at AA Wisconsin today and is now off to Nashville for games Tues and Wed.
Not sure how they can send Monasterio back down if he gets a couple of more games this week and continues to play as good as he has. Maybe Brosseau get sent down or DFA.
Brosseau definitely is falling down the depth chart. The only way I can see clearing another roster spot is by sending Perkins down, playing Anderson mostly in RF, and Urias at 3B. I really like Anderson at 3B but Monasterio has earned a spot at least until he cools off.

Why do I even try with you people (TM)?
It took me a time or two viewing it. Nicely done BK.

I still donāt get what Tom Hanks playing U.S. Grant and Ice Cube have to do with the Reds.
Iām leaving.

Nope, I'm not going to say it. Kiel will ban me if I do.
Nothing to see here!
I thought you were like a tree
Final game line up. And Luis is in the house.
Yep, Brosseau sent to Nashville to make room for Urias. Ruf also put on 60 day injured list. Interesting to see who gets sent down when Adames comes back. Anderson, Toro, or Monasterio?
Write in Owen Miller for 3rd base for the NL All Stars. We can get him there.
Baseball history was made in 1978 when the Brewers' Willie Mueller halted a 102-year streak of every major league player being able to get laid. pic.twitter.com/tJkCom5d8Q

We've said it many times, but man is it painful watching Yelich knowing what he was like 4-5 years ago.
He has 14 extra base hits this season. He had 18 extra base hits in September 2018 (and also in August 2018).

He stayed in Milwaukee after his brief major league career.
Julio Teheran has started three games for Milwaukee, and has been excellent, surrendering 3 earned runs in 17 1/3 IP, good for a 1.56 ERA.
Heās 1-2.
Do we support our pitchers, or what?
This offense needs a complete remake in the offseason, and I donāt know where the money is going to come from.
Maybe we could hold a bake sale.

I go back and look at those numbers from 2018-19 and it doesn't seem real.
Yelich fouled that ball off his kneecap on September 10, 2019. In the calendar year before that injury he had played in 148 games. In those games, he had 186 hits in 543 at-bats with 97 walks. He scored 120 runs. He had 35 stolen bases in 37 attempts. In those games he hit 343 with 52 home runs and 121 RBIs. He had 388 total bases.
His on-base percentage was 442 and his SLG of 714 for an OPS of 1156. Mike Trout's highest OPS for a season is 1090. It's Babe Ruth/Barry Bonds level of hitting.
It was absolutely insane. In one game in 2018, St. Louis walked him 5 times. I would watch most games in that stretch and, if I had something else going on, I would often sneak away during a dinner meeting just to watch his at-bats during the pennant race.
From about the all-star break in 2018 until he broke his kneecap, it was like watching Giannis play Game 6 in the Finals for almost every game.
Now, he's the biggest albatross of a contract they've ever had. At least Braun was still a very good power hitter for the majority of his contract.
LambeauSouth mentioned above that they need to rebuild the offense. But they can't really do that with him sucking up 20% of the salary total and hitting him 3rd or 4th.
He's got 5 more years fully guaranteed.
Even worse is that he's a liability in the field because of his weak arm. Any single scores a runner from 2B and any flyball scores a runner from 3B. He's basically been reduced to a contact hitter but he Ks too much to be called that. The Brewers have 4 really good young outfielders that could start next season in the bigs and I'm not sure where that leaves Yelich. At some point they have to make a decision because they can't play him for another 5 years. His contract is much worse than the deal the Packers had with Rodgers, at least he could still play.
