Pretty much any calorie dense foods (like HFCS) should be avoided except on occasion. Processed foods (especially food at restaurants) are chemically engineered to be highly palatable and are loaded with sugar, fat and salt. The more you eat, the more you want. It's designed that way.

The best "diet" is the one you'll stick to...because at the end of the day, it's all calories in vs calories out. Low fat, Mediterranean, ketogenic, vegan, paleo, carnivore...it just doesn't matter what you do as long as you can consume the minimal amount of calories to keep you functioning.

Hats off to you, that is a monumental accomplishment.

Thank you Chongo. A lot of effort and discipline and sacrifice.

#caloriesmatter

Has always amazed me that people fail to grasp that simple concept. I've maintained the same weight for the last 35 years and people ask me "how do I lose weight"....I always reply "don't eat so much".

Aaron Jones playing?  Initially I thought probably not with the bye next week but it’s a big game.   If he can go I say yes.

I’m sure he can go. GB docs are super reserved so I’d say it’s iffy at best.

Packers need to catch the ball when Stafford throws it to them.

They could really use Gary today to influence Stafford's bad decision making.

Damn, this page has been pretty quiet since yesterday. Did something happen to dampen everyone's spirit?

Noted. Never thought I’d root for Michigan. I’d be happy to start a game thread next Saturday night if you’d like.

Yet another game that will not be aired, in western Wisconsin, due to the vikings also playing at 3:25pm CST today. Love those NFL scedulers!

Enjoy, looks like a pretty good game.  I will be watching that one and the Packer game.

I'll save you the trouble and give you a final score here, give or take 10 points.

Meechigan 52 - Iowa 16.

I was pulling for the Badgers yesterday. I'd prefer they were the sacrificial lamb to the OSU/Mich winner. So has Tschmack lost his shit on Wisconsin like he does with the Packers any time things don't go perfectly?

I, mentally, wrote this game off as a loss. I felt that our defensive inability to stop the Vikings pass game and our injuries to key players would be predictable of this game. However, if Gary and Jones can play and the defensive backfield gets it’s mojo back then a win is possible.

Both are important if the seeding means a 1st round bye. But health is more important overall.

That said, if the medical staff clears Jones then he should play. Just make sure there's a healthy dose of #28 today. Keep Jones around 15 touches at the most. Then he gets 2 weeks to rest up.

I wrote this off as a loss, but if Gary is close to "normal," he could change things with the pressure he has been bringing. GB missed him last week; Cousins never got rattled like he does with pressure. Same with Stafford as he hears ghosts of running for his life in his days with Detroit.
