I think he can afford to expand his farm now, to probably half the state of Kansas.
Smart man. No chance of racking himself on that bike.
Prior to Nelson extension, Packers were spending $9.35M at WR position, 4th-lowest amount in NFL in ‘14. $11.5M signing bonus changes that
If 4-yrs & $39M is all “new” money, Nelson has 5-yr, $42.5M deal. $8.5M APY same as Pierre Garcon, less than Victor Cruz ($8.6M)
Here's hoping he can finally buy a bull to breed cows.
And he stays humble. Still drives a bike with a basket.
Does this mean that Demovsky wass right? Great job by the Packers and Jordy getting it worked out, with #'s on both sides that are fair and work out.
Awesome!
Whoo hoo, great for Jordy and great for the Packers.
I read the same quote from Cobb... That's outstanding character and a guy you WANT to give money to.
Translation: "I want 10 million/ yr too but I don't have the track record or stats to back it up yet.
Gimme a year"
Randall will have to make the same decision all of Rodgers' WR's have to make:
Be (1) part of an awesome crew or try to be The Man someplace else
#brainwash
No doubt, who wouldn't want that kind of money? I can't recall the last time I've heard a player say that though.
Sounds to me like he won't be signing an extension any time soon.
Cobb will have an incredible year with the help of A-Rod. Rodgers seems to know who needs the numbers and they all appreciate that. TOG may have hung with his guys. A-Rod makes sure they get paid.
Cap #'s: $5.925M in 2014, then $4.6M, $8.8M, $11.55M, $12.55M.
So they backloaded Jordy's, I can't imagine that they will try and front load Cobb?
@zachkruse2: Consider this: Jordy will count roughly $19.3M on the #Packers cap the next three years. Mike Wallace's cap hit in 2014 alone: $17.25M.

Last count was "banked 86k". You need to keep up.
