I would have been happy getting him 2 rounds earlier.

He said he got a fourth round grade when he came out early.

Appears to be a similar approach that worked successfully with RBs last year-  draft several and odds of hitting on at least one are pretty good.

His ability doesn't come close to matching his grade. He might be the best receiver in this draft. I think he thinks he's the best receiver in this draft class. He just doesn't care.

He was pretty good when he had a QB throwing the football.  Pretty pedestrian/lackadaisical with Wimbush.

I'd venture to say he'll like AR throwing to him and will be fully engaged. Love the pick!

I think St. Brown is just wired a bit differently than most prospects.  He appears to be highly intelligent and mature for his age.  I think it's safe to say he was raised quite differently that most as well.

I'll take a wait and see approach but he has all the tools in the world and the right guy throwing him the ball if he wants to be great.

I don't think GB picks him if Kizer isn't in GB either. If he decides he wants to play though....

I doubt that. I think it was more there was no way he should have still been available and there was no way they could pass him up.

Steal of the draft.

What else does he have going on in his life to cause him to poo-poo football?

Is he going to MIT? Trying to be a doctor? Astronaut?

I’m taking his word for it that whatever signals he put out at the college level are gone now that he’s in the pros. He is pissed he dropped, and now he wants it.

It’s perfect.

Daddy issues seriously? If that’s why people passed, I’m thinking it is going to be laughable.

Kind of reminds me of a guy who knows he's got crazy skills and thinks his last college QB and STs are beneath his ability. With AR throwing to him, that might not be a problem. But, that same attitude might keep him from getting on the field and then he'll be out of football in no time.

Just tell him in his home language "Mein Freund, wenn Sie auf ein Spiel Tag Register zu erhalten, müssen Sie erlernen, und einigen speziellen Mannschaften spielen wollen."

He may have refused to play ST in college, which if he was confident of his WR abilities it makes sense that he'd want to insure the future as best he could.

Another possibility with the scout talking to McGinn and poo-pooing EQ is that he/she is trying to justify his/her report that led to EQ not being picked in the top 50-75 and going late.

EQ has the skill/talent to tilt the field.
