I haven't read through the whole thread, just my initial post way back when saying I'd need a better source to give this any credence.

But hey, why pick on ecb? There are much better options, like

Everyone who said that Favre would only return if Sherman were retained
Everyone who said Favre would retire rather than learn a new offense
Everyone who said TT was forcing Favre into retirement
Everyone who has been saying FOR TWO YEARS that TT is forcing Favre into retirement

There's quite a long list of people who have been totally wrong on this; the fact that ecb's brother was the most recent doesn't make him the most worthy of criticism. It'd be nice for all the people certain that he was being forced into retirement every time we didn't re-sign someone like Wahle or Flanagan or canned Sherman or whatever had their own little dish of crow.

No, you're correct the fact he's the most recent doesn't make him the most worth target for some razzing. But, the fact that he was so eager to tell everyone just how much crow THEY would be eating when it was proven he was right DOES make him the most worth of critisizm.

Now, many of us here have posted bad info, for I can't recall anyone ever having done it in the same manner. And then whine about it later on when someone mentions it, along with whing about how the place is run.
