Never too early.

Plus I am superstitious as hell this time of year and I did the same last week.

I am drained from this afternoon's game so not much to say here except:

Packers can win this game. Seattle D is very very good but their offense relies excessively on Wilson extending plays out of the pocket.

Need to win the turnover battle.

Can't let Lynch and Wilson consistently gash GB on the ground (the biggest ask).

MM and AR need to judiciously attack the whole field. Don't be afraid to grind, dink and dunk.

Packers need to have an audibling system that works at 140db.

Run Eddie and Starks all 4 quarters.

NFC title is there for the taking. Most illuminati have already crowned the Seahawks as repeat champs. **** 'em.

Seattle lived on the explosive plays against Carolina. Aside from those bombs, they did nothing against Carolina. Lynch had one big run and a lot of mediocre production. Wilson is efficient and protects the ball, but there's nothing really special about what they do in the passing game.

Defensively they weren't as tough as last year, but they are still good. Carolina found ways to get yards. The middle of the field was open quite a bit and had Newton been more savvy or just smart, they would have been able to capitalize on more opportunities. They have smart DBs though, they do their homework. Going to be a chess match with Rodgers.

i think the offense can put up some points on the defense, i don't think our defense can play with seattle's strengths - a mobile qb and a punishing runner...if we hire ray mcdonald for a week, and raji came back, maybe...

My gut tells me it's time to truly unleash something we've only seen in spurts.

Eddie Lacy.

We need to pound him, then throw him the ball.  Almost like screens but not really screens.

The hags are very beatable.  We have seen this stadium, we have seen this team.

Even with a gimpy 12, we can beat them and their 12.

Pack vs. Pats for the SB.

MM is gonna need to pull out all the tricks and once again gonna need the rookies(Rodgers and Adams) to come up big. The offense's playmaking ability is severely hampered with Rodgers stuck to being a statue back there. Seattle's D is lightyears better than Dallas

Wilson vs this defense is also not a good  match-up. If Rodgers was 100% I'd feel more confident, but I just think Seattle's D will generate more stops than GB's D will.

Pack must not have a turnover, can't have brutal drops, and likely need to FORCE a turnover in this. I don't like their chances, but I like that they at least HAVE a chance and are still playing. That's all you can ask for

This game is going to be on the offensive line. They're going to need to block like there's no tomorrow next week. If they open up holes for Lacy while keeping Rodgers upright and control the clock, they will win. The defense probably isn't going to contain Lynch or keep Wilson in the pocket (at least not consistently), but the Pack's OL has the potential to make none of that matter if they bring their A game and keep the clock rolling. It's that simple.

That supposed to make us feel better? Our D has been horrendous against mobile QBs...in general.

Yep, Perry showed up today and adding Jayrone as a hair on fire pass rusher from OLB has got to be an improvement from having Jones on the field.

Pretty sure Jones will have a PTSD relapse thinking about Seattle before Sunday anyways.

I have no idea why such a thing would concern you. This defense has a very rich history in stopping mobile QBs.

I couldn't agree more.

They beat Joe Webb in the playoffs.

Not sure what Paul Richardson's impact at WR is.  It is one less experienced player for Wilson to throw to.  He did have a larger part in the offense once Harvin was traded.  He was also their main kick off returner. those duties will probably go to Doug Baldwin now.  Richardsons replacement will be 4th round rookie Kevin Norwood.

That would imply that Brad Jones made a positive impact play for the team, which as we all know would never happen

It was Datone Jones who got a hand on the blocked FG. Brad Jones DID get an illegal block in the back on ST to help put the team in even worst FP. That guy can stink on any unit!

Seattle is not a good matchup for GB at all.  Lynch is a beast, Wilson just makes plays, and the Seattle D can get after the QB and defend the pass straight up

For the Packers to have a chance I think they are best to lean on Lacy and Starks much like Carolina tried to do with Stewart.  The Seattle D is quick but they are not stout.  RTFB at those guys.

Was it a discount double check?

Way to go Fedya, I actually smilled at that.

'Tho I've been smiling for little or no reason for the last several hours.

They've done that pretty consistently all year.  Don't they have the most explosive plays in the league?  On average, they really don't do much but they always seem to pull out a good 30-40+ yarder enough to stay ahead of the other team.  They will have explosive plays next week.  We can survive a couple but not half a dozen.

I don't expect us to win and even if we do lose, I consider the season a success.   Winning a playoff game at Lambeau Field means all is right in Packer world.   The rookies got a taste of prime time football and shined.

I'll be rooting my ass off, maybe from the hospital as my 1rst born is scheduled for Saturday, but for the first time in a long time with 12 under center, I don't expect a W.
