Blair Kiel did a good job in pointing out the breaks that went against the Broncos. That non-fumble on the backward pass was pure freaking B.S. A ref should get fined for making a mistake that big in terms of blowing a whistle too early.
I'm just happy the Broncos found a way to win because I just don't want anything good to ever happen to Big Ben.

Lordy!
Hey what was up with all the non-calls on the facemasks of the Broncos?
Schwartz would've had a STROKE on the sidelines if that was his team!

I think this is the year that God takes Vince's trophy back where Vince can touch it
It's true that the Steelers are old and beat up, but I think the biggest problem for them today was their crappy defensive schemes. They were always putting a lot of people up near the line to stop the run, but that allowed the Bronco receivers to get in back of the defenders. That was happening all day. I didn't think Tebow was accurate enough to hit them, but he was pretty good when throwing the long ball.
I'm confused. For weeks the experts have told me the Packers defense would end up killing their season once the playoffs started.
The best defense in football just gave up 30 points and lost to Tim Tebow.
I'm starting to think they might not be experts.

Payback. Next Sunday.
ouch
I was at the Carolina/Packers NFCCG back in January '97/
That was cold...even the screwdrivers and bloody mary's froze at the tailgate.
that game started at 11:30 a.m. LFT. Imagine if that game started at 3:30 pm.
brrrrr....
are you going back for next Sunday's game, too?

No, but he did pass up Matty Ice.
Matty Stafford, too. The future HOF QB.
Sorry, won't be back there at Lambeau for the Gmen game.
If they win, my brother is working on getting me a ticket for the NFCCG...
long story.

Funny that the "league's #1 defense" gave up 29 points to the Broncos. The "leagues best pass defense" gave up 316 yards to Tim Tebow.
Shows how much those defensive ranks mean.

New season.
Correct.

He doesn't even throw a good deep ball, but he's patient enough and chucks it up when the defense stupidly lets receivers behind them. Fox and Co. have that offense even simpler than Billick did for the Vikings in '98 where they ran three deep on one side because Cunningham couldn't read the whole field. Tebow doesn't have to read a whole lot, they just run until the defense gets impatient and starts being stupid. Pittsburgh was running fountain patterns with multiple receivers while Denver ran high school patterns until pittsburgh broke down.
Harrison came too far inside on that little counter option all day long also. They used his aggressiveness against him and the idiot couldn't adjust.
The Denver coaches are pulling every trick in the book to get wins and adjusting to their personel rather than trying to make their personel fit what they wanted to do. It doesn't hurt that Fox has a very conservative offensive mindset and is patient.

The Steelers D on the field yesterday was not the Steeler D from the regular season. Several starters were out or were lost during the game. Still, they should have looked better than they did.

Backup center.
Backup left tackle.
No Mendenhall.
Gimpy quarterback.
Broncos lost Decker very early in the game.
to bad, I like Decker. He was always fun to watch at Minnesota.
New and improved convoluted OT rules just for the game to end after one offensive possession anyway. Brilliant.
Is it just me or is Tim Tebow succeeding as a QB?
What's next, John Kuhn having success running the ball from the FB position!

JJ Watt becoming a good DE in the 3-4.
Legursky at center...he is no slouch.
The backup LT didn't cost the Steelers the game. No huge drop off there.
Redman had over 100 yards rushing. What more could you want?
Ben only looked hurt after made a mistake. He put up 23 points. Surely enough to beat the terrible Broncos.
Especially when Tebow was without his best weapon in Decker. Big Ben has waaaaaaaaaay more offensive help surrounding him than Tebow does.
How do you let a Broncos team without Eric Decker score 29 points against the Steelers defense?
Broncos flat out beat the Pittsburgh Steelers and I find it funny how much that hurts some people.

Good call JJWattSD.
Based on what I've seen today, it also seems that the PITT players were subtly admitting that they were overconfident. That also seems to be a common thread with the teams the Donkeys have beaten - they've underestimated Timmy and it's burned them.
I hope the NYG are of the same mindset on Sunday after a week of reading and hearing how they're going to annihilate GB.

Not one Dick LeBeau's better games, to put it mildly.

God told me Tim Tebow is really right handed and has just been jacking with everyone up until now.
You actually do it quite well...you sure you were not a stripper - mailman or boy band member in a previous life?quote:Originally posted by JJSD:

No, but I aspire to all of those things.

How bout the desire to pre-fund $5 billion dollarsquote:Originally posted by JJSD:

I'm already working on that. Picked up another $247.43 in prefunds today from the mall. I will be buying you a nice sweater that I will then take back and return.
prefunds can't be spent, at the mall everyone knows sweaters are ichy Maybe you should get a sweater for Vander BLue JJStrawmanD
People!
More dum from ElKaRong - try again. That's not what I said about sweters but prefunds are complicated for you. FailBeatchRong.
Big list though, ya gotta admit. Maybe this year the football gods have been told to get the "Word" out ... no better spotlight than the NFL.
