You should be able to install the App on a mobile device because you have purchased the package at home and watch a stream.   From there you can get it on the big screen a number of ways depending on your device.  Standard HDMI on a laptop being the most obvious.

I don't know about fruit.  They probably have some proprietary BS you have to buy with their "lightning" adapter for 5x the cost.

Maybe it pays to wait.  I just got off the phone, did the cancel, cancel thing, didn't have to get angry or anything.  Just said this is getting too expensive and I was thinking of going to cable and the online Ticket.  She immediately gave me free Ticket Max plus took off $38 per month for 6 months and another $10 per month for 12 months and no additional service commitment!  Not bad for 15 minutes invested.  Hopefully this helps someone, you still have a couple days to try it.

They are in a bit of a giving mood.  Called (said cancel at the prompt) and told them that I was looking for some programming discounts.  First question was - are you interested in the Sunday Ticket?  I told him that I was if he could find me a deal.  He clicked the keys, asked me about my day, then said that he found me some discounts.  Free Sunday Ticket, half off Showtime for 6 months, $30 off programming for a year, and $10 additional off for a year.

Also, when you connect with DirecTV, tell them you are hard of hearing and request a native English speaker. That will get you out of India... and into Iowa

I prefer speaking with Bill or Christine in India. What happened to good old traditional Indian names like Deepak and Chapati?

One of my first jobs out of school was at Expedia.com.  I remember when they downsized a 24 hour call center in Vegas to day only by opening a new center in " st. Louis."  I never knew their were so many  filipino in the Lou.  They even had them trained to never tell Expedia staff they were over seas.

My job was the guy who listened in to the calls and graded them on sales / service.  Brutal. People calling at 2am were people who needed the most help because something has obviously gone wrong.  Now they get stuck with broken English script reader instead of someone who can understand the nuances of the situation.

Thanks but I have the fruit so I might have to check some more.

Went this route and got $49 off a month on a 12 month contract and the NFL Max package.

I did this today, worked like a champ.

$99 - This is the $360 Sunday Ticket Max package

Every out-of-market game, every Sunday afternoon
Watch on console, laptop, tablet, phone, Roku, and Chromecast
Enjoy RED ZONE CHANNELยฎ and DIRECTV FANTASY ZONEโ„ข
Get real-time stats and scores
Track your favorite players

Notes:
1) This is for college students only, but all you need is:
a) Any student's full name
b) Their school name
c) Their birthday
2) When it comes time to pay, it will show the student name in the billing info, but the credit card charge will still go through
3) The university location has no bearing on what is considered a "local game" (and hence not available because it is on local TV). They use IP address geolocation for that.
4) Any email address can be used (does not need to be a university domain)

To make things even better - the normal Sunday Ticket internet only package is only available in select areas, but this student deal is open to any address!! So this might be the only way to purchase this for some people.

I was offered $10 off & that was it in 08/18. Called them again after waiting for a month.

Told the guy I was upset the woman I spoke to on the August call because her discount was

so cheap. He apologized & then I asked what could he do for me. I received NFL MAX for free,$20 a month off for 12 months & 4 months of Showrime for free.

Boris is correct; They need subscribers to charge advertisers on NFL Ticket.

I got a free preview of NFL Game Pass today. Decided to give it a shot since I really missed having NFL RedZone, and I wanted to see if it's worth buying. If you fool the NFL's servers to make them think you're in Brazil, you can get live games for the year for $120. I connected my Windows desktop to my TV with an HDMI cable (Flash makes my MacBook Air burning hot, and I like being able to use it while I'm watching the games). The picture is even worse than I remember it being 2 years ago. I don't even think it's worth $60/yr. Amazing that the NFL thinks this is acceptable picture quality for 2015. The picture is blurry, and the frame rate is choppy (not overly choppy, just choppy enough to where the movement of the players and camera isn't smooth). Since the Packers are on local TV for the first 5 games, I'm just going to buy NFL Sunday Ticket at some point in the middle of the season after the price has dropped a bit. **** the NFL, and **** DirecTV. They're nothing but monopoly-mooching parasites who know they can get away with providing inferior products at high prices.

Every cable and satellite provider in Canada has Sunday Ticket, literally all of them. It's illegal in Canada for cable/satellite TV companies to make the kind of monopoly agreement the NFL has with DirecTV here. As a result, Sunday Ticket costs much less there.
