I have very little interest in this SB. I'll most likely watch, but I really just want my numbers to hit.

I’m looking forward to it, looks to be a great game. I will miss football tomorrow.
There is a depressing aspect to the big game. When it's over, it's over for months. Some of us will be forced to interact with family/friends. Tread lightly. Try to look busy.
I'll spoil it for you ....
Eagles will by up by 30 with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter & KC will come roaring back to tie it & push the game to OT.
Saquon will fumble in OT and KC pulls out the victory with a FG.

I think PHI is better overall (both sides of the ball) on the lines.

Absolutely do not want the Chiefs to get the 3 peat. But it'll be hard to pull for Philly, primarily due to their rude, obnoxious fans. So, hoping Philly wins but wont be cheering for them.
I don’t really care about the game. I’m looking forward to the four hours of fantastic commercials. Special bonus if the “artist” doing the National Anthem makes the song last twice as long as it was meant to be.
My prediction:
The NFL/KC refs decide to up their game and create the first pre-game penalties. After starting with 1st down and 2,000 yards to go, Philly fans are enraged. Philly fans break out of prisons across the globe causing worldwide destruction. World leaders demand an independent investigation, which finds all teams (except one) to be cheating. Green Bay, being the world's only honorable team, gets the win and the admiration of all mankind.

I have ZERO interest in this game. I hate Philly and their fans with a passion and if you have ever experienced their fans in person you would understand. I want no joy whatsoever for that fan base. And I started to really find it hard to tolerate how the game is officiated when KC plays and the NBA level of favoritism they get.
So, my wife and I will head to the local casino where I will admit I will place a few bets on the game, but my only interest is if what I bet pays off.
Even the commercials are gonna suck. There might be 2 decent ones but the rest will blow!

If Chiefs win this thing, at what point does Patrick start thinking of claiming GOAT?
Though I think he is supremely more talented than Brady, it may take 7 SB rings for Mahomes to claim that spot. Which, to add more dread to monday morning, isn't out of the realm of possibilities.

It will mark for a good discussion about how much difference the QB actually makes. If you switched QBs, Philly would win the Super Bowl by 20+ points and the Chiefs wouldn't have made it out of the first round of the playoffs (if they even got there).
If I knew how to insert pics I'd find Bugs Bunny saying, ”What's up Doc?”.

Mahomes just seems to always make the right decision. The game seems like it is in slow motion for him, even when he runs, or is avoiding rushers in the pocket, just an eerie calmness to his game.

He's like a more mobile Joe Montana with a better arm. Montana also had that "slow motion" game, and the bigger the game the slower it was for him. Mahomes is calm, but he can be ruffled a bit if he's forced to run a ton. I find the primary reason he's also so good is that Reid is exceptional. Reid has such a great feel for what plays to run, how the game is tilting, how to counter the other team, and how far to push his QB. Mahomes adds spiciness, but Reid is the sauce.
Mahomes reminds me a lot of the play of Bart Starr. Not that Starr would run like Mahomes does but that neither seem to get rattled much under pressure. Both are so cool back there and never let it get to them. Like the drive in the Ice Bowl I see the same confidence in Mahomes.

Mahomes is what McNabb never was for Reid in Philadelphia.

I like the Montana/Mahomes comparison. Joe to me is definitely in the top 5 QBs to ever play the position (and Mahomes may be already). He wasn't that big, didn't have the big arm, and wasn't the most mobile QB but man was he cool under pressure and just was so calm. Mahomes is definitely the better athlete and is more mobile if he has to be but there are a lot of similarities in their games.
I also like the thought about Reid. He just has that feel for what to call at just the right moment. Something that Montana's coach Bill Walsh could do as well.
One thing about KC is that no one really talks about their defense much. When I see them play I find myself thinking of how many Super Bowls the Packers could have won if they had that kind of defense.
I think a lot of people talk about KC's D and Spagnuolo. Especially this year when they've kept their middling offense and middling QB in games so their middling QB can transform back into the clutch assassin he is and win the game on their last possession. I'm not sure they make the playoffs this year with a middling D.
On Montana, he was very mobile, especially for his era. Not Mahomes mobile but he moved around a lot outside the pocket. Especially compared to his contemporaries like Marino, Kelly, Esiason, Fouts, Sims. Interesting he finished his career in...KC.

When the Packers had the level of defensive front 7 guy like Chris Jones is right now, they either won Super Bowls (Reggie White and prime CM3) or should have (Julius Peppers - 2014).
The Packers just have not had that type of guy. They are hard to find. The guys that make plays like Aaron Donald did in the Rams Super Bowl win where he just beat the guy in front of him to disrupt what would have been a walk in TD from Burrow to Chase on the Bengals last drive.
That's why someone is going to trade everything but the kitchen sink for Garrett (and maybe for Maxx Crosby)
