3 Major Positives:

+ Aaron Jones has found the fountain of youth and looks every bit as good as he did 4 or 5 years ago.

+ Love.  What an incredible job of development from how he looked a couple years ago.

+ The Coaching staff.  I mean they 100% completely outcoached McCarthy and Quinn.  Joe Barry included, his defense played very well until they started to rest key players a bit early.

- I like Mike McCarthy and it was sad to see how overmatched he looked in this game.  I’ll be surprised if Jerry Jones lets him return.

The Packers now have more playoff wins at AT&T Stadium (3) than the Cowboys do (2).

Saw a stat that since the last time the Cowboys won the Super Bowl (1995) the Jacksonville Jaguars have more playoff wins than they do.

Cowboys: 5

Jaguars: 8

For as much pub as the Cowboys get they have been an incredibly horrible franchise for the past 30 years.

Positives:

  • Everything, literally everything for the first 3 1/2 quarters.
  • Hearing Go Pack Go often throughout the game
  • A dagger call from Wayne in the third quarter!
  • Knowing that Bears and Vikings fans (and soon some Detroit fans) are sitting in silence thinking "they fucking did it again!"
  • No work tomorrow, can take in all the memes and reactions

Negatives

  • 5-6 minutes of sloppy ball to make the score look less lopsided but never seriously bring the outcome into question
  • Injury to Enegbare sounds bad
  • Jaire aggravates his ankle but hopefully by next weekend he's as healthy as he was at 3pm today if not better

I do feel bad for MM though.

Me too....He doesn't deserve what he's about to get. I'm glad he got the one trophy in GreenBay and has a street named after him.

It's hard to win in the NFL...Ask the Niners....Lost their last 2 Super Bowls. Let's see what happens this year

+ Jordan Love.  This game was never bigger than him. Looked poised and focused the whole time to lead his team to victory. Ball was spread out yet again to whoever was open. Now has one playoff win under his belt, great for his development.

+ Offensive line giving up ZERO sacks and creating plenty of room for Jones to run to daylight.

+ Romeo Doubs was the man at WR today.

+ Aaron Jones running hard all game. There was no stopping him.

+ Defense brought it today. 2 interceptions with one a pick 6 was key to this win.

+ First #7 seed to win a playoff game.

- Gotta stop these missed PAT's. That's what 6 now on the season.

Lost in the fog of seeing actual NFL defense in GB is how good the tackling has been for several games now.  Remember how disgusted everyone was with this D and how poor their tackling was?

There is a bigger story to this D turnaround than scheme adjustments.  They're getting after guys now and I don't see anyone calling them soft.  I'll have more on the "soft" issue later.

The Lions haven't won a playoff game since before text messaging was invented 😆

So if you're a Lions fan reading this....congrats.for joining the 21st century!!
