  • This team. They care about the game; they care about each other. Even if they go all the way, that's what I'll remember about this year: they are playing the right way, and the locker room is close.
  • Locker room humor about Musgrave not falling down.
  • Unsung hero: Whelan. Didn't realize all three of his punts ended up inside the 10-yard line. That's... cool.
  • A quick observation: in all the after-game locker room videos, Love stands in the second row, behind others, almost like he wants to be just one of the guys. He doesn't call attention to himself. I hope he never loses that humility.

  • Engabare injury.

Another week, another playoff game. What a team, what a year.

I was confident going in the game GB was going to give Dallas everything they had. I never saw that coming though.
And no matter how this season ends. You have to love where this team is going forward. For the 1st time in a long time I can’t recall going into a draft where GB had a glaring weakness (or weaknesses) that had to be addressed early in the draft. This team is set to actually grab the best players on their board.

I think it was Bukowski who posted on twitter about how awful the first 3 plays were on that first drive.

I thought after our OL butt tackled Jones for a loss on 2nd down that that was going to be a bad sign for the game.  You saw stuff like that a lot during their losing streak but not much since then.  The OL can not be credited enough with what that offense is doing.  They're opening holes and 33 is taking a chainsaw through them.

Watching First Take on ESPN, they spent the entire first hour talking about Dallas. I started to get a little frustrated that they aren’t talking about the Packers but then it dawned on me that the Lions won their first playoff game in over 30 years and they haven’t even mentioned that game.

There was a time where it was actually worthwhile to watch these ESPN talk shows about the NFL.  Then basically 98% of their true talented personnel was either let go or retired.  It’s probably been at least a decade since I watched the talk shows on ESPN for more than just a few minutes.

Now I stick to listening to some of the local Wisconsin talk shows via streaming.  I just feel it’s way more interesting since they stick to local stuff and I find most of the shows are at least somewhat entertaining to listen to.

My personal favorite used to be the Chuck and Winkler show but it disbanded as Chuck was let go during the pandemic, and  Bart Winkler, pride of Fond Du Lac, now has a national show late nights on CBS Radio.

Not sure if I post this here or not, and I’m sure you’ll let me know, soâ€Ķâ€Ķ.here goes.  I think â™Ĩïļ got some of his throws from both Bert & #12.   That throwing off the left foot, out of sinc, and just throwing up there reminds me of Bert so much.  Then, when he hits his receivers through a crowd to complete a pass, his side arm throw, and his arch throw to receivers is soooooo #12.   I know all QB’s do that but, I really think Love is a really, really good QB and has a lot of different passes to prove it.  Ok, fire away.

Wait! You watched a channel that is dedicated to the Dallas Cowboys 24/7, 365 days of the year and expected to hear them talk about the Packers??? You are doing it wrong. The answer is YouTube, old man. More Packers talk that I can absorb from people who actually know something about football. ESPN IS DEAD!

No team gets more publicity for doing so little.  This stat summed it up for me:

"Since 1995 the Cowboys have as many playoff wins as the Texans, and the Texans didn't exist until 2002".

The fact that anyone at all talks about this poverty franchise amazes me.

As others have said I do not understand how Dallas gets so much coverage for a team that hasn't done squat in 30 years.

ESPN is really dead.  I don't watch the network really outside of live sporting events anymore.  But, I couldn't help myself this morning.  So far not one peep about how MLF had a great game plan and they went in to their place and curb stomped them.  And they have yet to even mention the team from Detroit that looked pretty darn good last night.

Oh and if you have never watched the horrid show Get up?  don't bother with it and find something else to watch.

The shows are unwatchable. They are designed for people who like to shout at their TV’s not for sports fans. ESPN is for live sports. That’s it.

I used to watch Mike and Mike and liked it. Golic was not afraid to tell Greenburg how wrong he was about football.  And it got so that off screen they hardly talked. Then Golic brings his son in and it really went downhill.  So along comes Get Up and I watched about 5 minutes of the 1st show and never watched again until today because I knew Greeny and the rest would rip Cowboys, MM and Jones. Probably  5 years before I watch again, unless Packers stomp the Whiners and then I might have to watch again.

And in case anybody is interested here is a link to John Kuhn radio show.
