I wonder if watching Tampa Bay inside linebackers David and White at inside linebacker absolutely neutralize the explosive Chiefs offense today (and what they did to the Pack's O in the 2 games this season) might help convince the Packers front office that the inside linebacker position is worthy of consideration.

All these years of mediocre to bad defenses in GB have featured one constant - lack of talent at ILB.

Nope.

For the past umpteen seasons, when the playoffs begin, I see teams with LBs that are blazingly fast, can easily run sideline-to-sideline, and have good coverage skills vs TEs and RBs.
Having one can make a huge difference. 2 would be a dream.

Bowles blitzing on 4th and 10 from his own 12 up 31-9 in the 4th.

So weird to see defense played aggressively like that.

Granted, Mahomes is on a bad wheel, but TB has a free runner at him on every play. Sickening to watch such a thing while TB has nary a grass stain.

Green Bay lost that game on their own due to many reasons and it never should have come down to the refs.

If Mike Pettine doesn't leave Kevin King on an island (or if King actually backpedals) at the end of the first half, Pettine and MLF are probably hugging each other with a Lombardi trophy tonight.

Instead, Pettine is gone.

It really is a shame the Packers are not playing right now against a one-footed Mahomes. Missing this one is probably the worst of the 4. It's alright though, Rodgers has his whole career to work with front office to build a dynasty with multiple repe...

Just imagine if Rodgers went 5-0 in NFC and beat Brady in 2 Super Bowls and then beat him in the NFC Championship this year to go to his 5th Super Bowl victory.

The Dynasty the front office never cared to try for.

The front office always tried to make sure the team was going to be competitive for the next 5 years every year. They got what they wanted - 25 out of 29 winning seasons and 21 playoff seasons. They also got 2 Super Bowl wins with 29 years of HOF QBs.

What a cheap shot on Mahomes there. Game's over and Tampa Bay pulls that shit?

My guess is that the RTP call was from JPP hitting him low.
I thought diving at his knees from behind was chickenshit.

I'm convinced Tampon has been the luckiest team this year. They were about done when they got their bye week and got rejuvinated.  Then in the playoffs they catch the Packers and the Chiefs with reshuffled OL due to injuries.  Plus they get a Super Bowl at home.  Yep, luckiest bastards in the NFL.

I'm convinced they are pretty good.

Luck is good and good teams take advantage of it.

We'll get em next year!

I was thing the exact same thing about Brady, ammo.
No doubt he is/was a great QB, but he's had the golden-est of horseshoes up his ass for his entire career.
He's been incredibly lucky to have players on his teams that can easily overcome his deficiencies (especially strong defenses), played in a weak division, and benefitted from a particularly unscrupulous coach/FO/owner. Year after year after year.

Not to say he hasn't worked hard and paid his dues, but he's way more lucky than good. Or great.
