Yeah, I question that whole prop bet story. Seems pretty dumb to have a bet like that available that someone could literally make it happen after placing a bet. Even if you did, who's going to accept a $50K bet on that?

He was planted by a Russian social media dude to promote an adult website. He probably got paid pretty well for that. This is at least the 3rd time this same guy has pulled a stunt like this at a big sports event.

Has anyone worked this much for so little results since Archie Manning?

Actually, they both lost to the Tampa defense.  Defense, still, wins championships.

What's worse, being in the mix nearly every single year for 30+ years, or chasing a franchise QB for 40+ years?

I was going to say that I didn't realize that was Brady rushing off the edge and flushing Rodgers and Mahomes constantly out of the pocket.

Actually, I am just waiting for the Bears to trade for Wentz as rumored. Wentz was rumored to have some coachability issues and was awful last year. He has Jay Cutler potential written all over him.

In the Super Bowl era, the Bears QB has been named to the Pro Bowl twice. Jim McMahon in 1985 and Trubisky in 2018 (alternate that got to play). Out of 55 years, one regular selection and that was mainly because it was hard to keep out a guy who QB'd one of the best teams ever (one-season wonder that they were).

If you are a Bears' fan, I think you can make fun of the fact that the Packers have been even more inept at finding MLBs and ILBs than the Bears have been at finding a QB. Since 1975, the Packers have had one ILB make the Pro Bowl and that was AJ Hawk in 2010.

On the other hand the Bears have had Singletary, Urlacher, Marshall, Briggs (an outside LB most of the time but who could cover TEs), Otis Wilson, and Roquan Smith.

If the Packers would have had the Bears ILBs over the last 30 years and nothing else changed they'd probably have 3-4 more rings. Just like if the Bears would have had Favre and Rodgers they'd have a handful too.

tickets were still available day of the game for $4000 each. if Packers would have been there, I may have done it. prior to day of the game, tickets were $10k to 30K. that is sick.

If the Packers were there there would be no tickets available on the day of the game.

Unless your QB's name is Trubisky.
