People are enamored with ESQ because outside of Adams, we have nothing at receiver right now (Lazard being out), and they’re hoping that ESB shows something that justifies the faith and patience the team has shown in holding on to him for two years where he’s largely not been on the field.

St. Brown - a miscommunication with Rodgers and now a drop. Remember, he was inactive in Week 1 not because of the injury.

Getting harder and harder to justify Gute's faith in ESB.

Davante Adams has not had a good game. It happens.  Neither has Rodgers.  He’s had a shit game actually.  33 and 30 not so much.  Then there’s the “defense” today JFC.

We could have Randy Moss of 1998 or Jerry Rice 1989 and it makes no goddamn difference today.  This was a team effort in terms of sucking ass.   MLF and Pettine as well.   Almost as bad as the SF playoff game last year.

This is a beat down of 2019-20 Niners-level proportions.

MLF had something on them the first two drives with those passes to the right side where guys got lost in that part of the field for easy completions. Once that went away, there was nothing.

Part of the story will be Rodgers laying an egg, but this was a total annihilation.

But even on those first two drives Rodgers had to work to make plays. TB only clamped down further from that point, and GB had zero answer at all. It's a total team loss. No one played well at all today. None of them.

First int was all Rodgers. Everything after that was a total team effort to fail.

I think part of that first interception was due to the activity at the line before the snap. If you go back and look, Rodgers spends the last few seconds before the snap talking to the right side of the OL. If he's scanning the coverage instead, maybe he doesn't make that throw. He saw single coverage and figured the DB would protect against Adams on the go route, but the guy just jumped the route.
