I actually thought this Bucks team was more like the 2011 Packers team.  They roared through the regular season and got humbled a bit in the postseason.

The Bucks didn’t choke away the series per se like the Packers did against the Seahawks.  They just got flat out beat by the Raptors.

What will be interesting to follow is how the East turns out this offseason.  It really hinges on 3 players or moves:

1) does Kyrie stay in Boston

2) does Kahwi stay in Toronto

3) Anthony Davis status

If somehow the Celtics can keep Kyrie and lure Anthony Davis even as a one year rental they are the favorites IMO.

If Kahwi stays in Toronto and the Bucks and Sixers return much of their same core then those three are all pretty equal I think.  The difference is if Giannis can make another leap in his progression then I think they are better than Toronto or Philly.

I still think Anthony Davis ends up with the Lakers, Kahwi goes to the Clippers, and Kyrie goes to the Nets or Knicks.  We shall see.

If Giannis makes a few more free throws and Middleton and Bledsoe hit a couple of more 3s in the series they beat the Raptors and likely would have beaten an injured Golden State team.

Of course, I bet if the Bucks played Toronto 100 times in a row there is no way Fred Van Vleet shoots 17-22 from 3 in a two game stretch.

For as good as the season was it was a missed opportunity.   Hope they make it back and redeem themselves.

If Giannis had a 12-foot jumper in his arsenal, the Bucks would be champs.

If I had 12 inches in my pants I'd be a lot more popular. I don't and Giannis doesn't have that shot (yet) so here we are.

At least there's hope for Giannis.
